***** Chapter 1 *****
Fire has always interested me. The way it flickers and dances. The thrill of
knowing it could burn down anything I desired. The door suddenly opened, making
me flick the lighter off and looking up in annoyance. "Surely someone told you
about manners." I snapped, although it didn't really bother me. "Sorry Boss,"
Namjoon said, turning to leave again. "Stop," I ordered without looking at him.
"What did you come for?" I asked, flicking on the lighter again. "We've got a
situation." He spoke nervously. "Oh? Come, sit. Entertain me." I threw the
sentence carelessly, tossing the lighter onto the desk.
"Black Beaks sent a spy. I overheard him talking on the phone about how he's
close to getting to the stash. He-"
I held up my hand to stop him from talking. He immediately shut his mouth and
sat up a little straighter. "What room is he in?" I asked, pulling the gun I
kept out of the drawer. "His bunk," Namjoon answered instantly. I just nodded
and stood up, leaving him in the office. My feet were silent on the concrete
floor as I walked along. Min Sung or just Min for short was standing there in
the room, completely alone and talking down the phone to someone. I didn't
hesitate to shoot a bullet through his head, letting blood and brain matter
splatter across the walls. "Shame, I just had this room cleaned too," I
muttered to myself.
"I'll get Remmie," Namjoon spoke up from behind me. "No need. I have another
idea. Please hold on." I said, bending down to retrieve the phone. "Min? Min?!
Fucking answer me what's happened?" Someone yelled down the phone. I didn't
answer, I just hung up and handed the phone to Joon. "Destroy this, we won't be
needing it. Please bring me a case to put him in." I ordered, wiping my hands
on my shirt and turning to look at him. "Such a shame too, he wasn't half bad.
Apart from being a spy that is." I muttered. Namjoon just nodded and briskly
left. I looked back at the body on the floor and sighed. I only have two men I
trust with selling our stash. It would be useful to have others helping us, but
sometimes you just happen to get a rat that needs to be exterminated before it
causes a problem.
"Boss," Namjoon said almost immediately after he left. "That was fast," I
commented. He just shrugged and carried the large container into the room. I
took off the lid and hoisted Min's body over my shoulder, dropping him into the
box. "This parcel needs to get to Black Beak's hideout. Put it on special
delivery." I told him as I put on the lid. Again he just nodded submissively
and let me go.
I walked back to the office and slouched in my seat. It's not often that I go
out. I don't really see the need. Plus I'm not one to ever socialize. I have no
family and no one to count as friends. Plus, it's safer here. No one can find
me. But, then again saying that it does get very lonely here. Half the time,
the boys are too scared or busy to talk to me and I don't risk carrying a
phone. Anyone could trace that and I want to limit my risks. Besides, cops
could still be searching for me. After those bastards fished me out I've been
in trouble ever since. That was about five years ago, so if they still are or
not I have no clue and I don't want to go out there to find out. Obviously, I
can see the sky from my small window, a snippet of the world. But the last time
I felt the cool air and the grass under my feet- It's been a while. I keep
feeling nostalgic but I don't let my foolishness stop me from protecting
myself.
A knock on the door took me from my thoughts. "Come," I spoke up croakily,
turning to the door, watching Tae walk in. He walked over and dropped rolls of
cash onto my desk. I nodded in approval. "Well done. Is there any left?" I
asked. "Yeah, you want it, Boss?" He asked, waving the last packet in my face.
I shook my head. "Take it," I said. "Really? Thanks, Boss." Tae grinned. "You
don't have to keep calling me boss all the time." I snapped without thinking. I
didn't apologize though. "Okay, well- thanks, Suga." He smiled before turning
and leaving me alone. Funny how so many people think that if you run a drug
business, you must be a druggie right?
I only got into this shit so I could feed myself. I wasn't too keen on starving
out. I guess I just stuck with it and now here I am. Running a multi-million
dollar business that has the cops out for my head and other druggies desperate
for my stash. They wish they were smart enough to make their own shit. But
instead, they rely on bigger drug companies to keep their own business afloat.
It would help massively to have help around here, take the load off my
shoulders. But most of the time you have to be wary of snakes. They weed their
way in, gain your trust and then stab you in the back. And it sucks. It would
be nice to have other people around here. Most of my time spent here is spent
alone. Not everyone loves to be alone all the time. When I was younger, I had a
lot of friends. I considered myself popular for a little while. But then people
moved away and I moved apart from them. I lost the connections I once had and
eventually, I was left alone. Why it happened I won't ever be sure. It's rare
for anyone to stay friends for so long. But soon enough I found myself alone
and choosing if I wanted to make music or feed myself. My parents barely owned
anything of their own, they couldn't afford it. I promised them I was eating,
but really I was trying to make my own music. I guess some things just don't
work out.
My career started when I met a small drug business who needed someone to get
the stash to their customers. They paid well and I couldn't pass it down. It
was enough to feed my family. They believed that I was really selling my mix-
tapes. But I couldn't tell them I was actually selling drugs, they'd completely
have disowned me. Of course, something like that- it's a problem. Like a weed
stuck in the crevices of the sidewalk. Once it begins to grow, it's quite
difficult to get rid of. You can pick it out and instantly think the problem is
solved, but it comes back soon enough. You try to ignore it but it gets in your
way. You try to kill it but you have no idea how far the roots go down. They're
so deep that no matter what you do, you can't hide it. I knew it would come out
eventually. I just never expected it so soon. I just never expected my Mother
to come out of nowhere and catch me.
I still send them money. I transfer it straight to their account so that I know
they're safe and that they can eat. After I was found out they disowned me and
turned away. But I can't turn away not knowing if they're able to eat each day.
I sighed heavily and dropped into my chair, slowly spinning it from one side to
the other. There were mounds of paperwork that needed to be finished. I wish
that selling a handful of pills was just that. Take the pills and get cash in
hand. Unfortunately for me, I have to fill out forms for each customer and what
we work with. If someone were to mess me around, I need to have their
information. Unlike other starting businesses who had the same insight, I did
at one point. They think it's all counting your wads of cash and separating the
pills. However, for me, I have a boss that expects this shit from me. He helps
keeps me up with everything. He takes care of any business that I'm not high
enough to do. I'll admit though, it's a pain in the ass to have to fill out
each individual form. Which is why I need someone here to help me. Tae and
Namjoon already have their jobs. So I have the issue of handwriting names,
addresses, birthdays and so on. It's tiresome.
Usually, we'll take someone on from a smaller business. Either they're useless
to them, or the company collapsed or they just no longer need them. You have to
be careful with who you take in. Some businesses, we're okay with. Others, not
so much. The people we hire, most have moved up. They've been offered better
placements with a higher dealer. The others, well they didn't keep their mouths
shut. Vermin must be executed. Without exception.
However, with this recent mishap, I can't exactly start taking chances so
easily. Besides- paperwork was all I was able to do nowadays. I sighed heavily
and rubbed my temple as if it could mask the numb throbbing pain. All was
silent for a moment before loud crashes and shouting could be heard. I
immediately got up and briskly walked towards the sound. A boy I'd never seen
before was held back by Namjoon, struggling and screaming for him to be let go.
I stopped in the doorway, looking at Tae who was standing close with a gun
faced towards the intruder. The boy cried desperately, his eyes bloodshot and
puffy. "What's going on here?" I asked calmly. "Oh, Boss. We've had this little
mite try and get in through the back door. No idea where he came from." Namjoon
explained, effortlessly holding the bony boy in his arms so that he couldn't
run back out the door. Not that he'd have anywhere to go. It depends if there
was someone waiting for him. I wasn't stupid enough to look myself so I nodded
to Tae in a silent order. He gave me a firm nod as a response, holding up his
gun in a defensive position. I watched silently as he edged his way through the
doorway, looking around the area. Almost immediately he began firing bullets,
running towards somewhere. Namjoon looked as though he wanted to help but I
shook my head. Tae's experienced. He knows what he's doing.
We stood in momentary silence until he returned, both arms by his side in
defeat. I didn't speak, I just looked at him. "There was a van. Drove away as
soon as I saw it. I didn't see any faces so I tried to shoot the tires." He
explained, partly out of breath. I just hummed as a response and turned my
attention to the boy. At this point, he had given up struggling. It was like he
was ready to face death. However- I wasn't quite finished with him. He seemed
like the type to spill information without a threat. My head fell to the side
in curiosity. He wouldn't look up from the floor. His body was limp and
lifeless. I didn't have to kill him. He was already dead. I could see the tears
falling from his cheeks and down to the concrete floor, making small dark spots
appear oddly. "Take him to the holding room," I said before I turned away and
walked back to my office. Usually, I'd have them dead without concern. But this
time- the way he held himself was innocent. It was obvious he was forced into
it. You could tell just by looking at him.
I waited for a while, just standing in the empty room. My mind was completely
empty and blank. I wasn't really sure what to think. Mostly I was confused as
to why I hadn't just let Tae shoot him. But also- I didn't want to let myself
think about it. If I did I would end up breaking down and I can't let myself do
that. Taking a sharp yet deep breath, I finally turned away from the wall and
walked down to the holding room. It was hardly ever used. Any snakes we had
that made their way into the business were usually shot on sight. But this
time, I couldn't. Namjoon was standing outside, guarding the premises. I knew
it was just formality, but I had to admit, it made me laugh. There's no way
anyone can escape all the locks and chains. It just wasn't possible.
"Tae's inside. We didn't want him to try and harm himself." Namjoon spoke when
he saw me. I nodded with a sad smile and waited for the door to be unlocked.
"You can leave," I told Tae. He just firmly nodded and left the room, closing
the door behind him. I walked in and leaned casually against the wall opposite.
The boy who was yet to be named was slouched on the ground, his gaze still not
meeting mine. Neither of us spoke. I don't even know if he knew I was there. I
couldn't tell if he was asleep or not. It hadn't been that long, but my first
thought was that he probably wore himself out. I crossed my arms loosely and
watched him. His hair was a bright orange, which I'd never actually seen on
someone before. It suited him. His body was bony and frail. It was like I could
just snap his arm in half. His clothes were torn and his skin was tanned but
dirty. I could see the structure of his face from the way I was standing. His
jaw was sharp, his nose long and thin. I wanted him to look at me. I found
myself wanting to know if he was okay.
Usually, I'm very cold towards anyone. But I couldn't help but crouch down in
front of him. I reached out a hand and went to lift up his chin, but he
flinched away as if I was about to hit him. "I'm not going to hurt you," I said
as if it were obvious. He looked up briskly through his hair and then focused
on the ground again. I proceeded to push his chin up, and finally, his eyes
properly met mine. His eyes were slanted and almost sunken in. You could see
his cheekbones and not in a healthy way. It was obvious he hasn't been eating.
I dropped my hand and stood up, watching him for a moment longer before I
walked over to the door and knocked. Namjoon opened the slide in the door to
check it was me and opened it. "Prepare a bath for him. And food. Immediately."
I ordered. "Sure thing, Boss." He answered, leaving his spot at the door. Tae
moved over and stood in front of the door. "I'm surprised you're letting him
live." He commented. I glanced at him and then looked away. "I'd rather not
discuss the matter," I spoke, cutting off the conversation before it could
continue.
Minutes later, Namjoon appeared with a pot of basic noodles in his hand. "I'm
running a bath for him now." He said. "In what room?" I asked coldly, taking
the pot of food. "Yours, is that okay?" He asked me. I just nodded and turned
to Tae. "Door," I spoke quietly. He unlocked it again and let me walk in before
shutting it. The boy's head twitched as if he were trying to stop himself from
looking up. "It's just me," I said, which actually made him relax. I raised an
eyebrow with curiosity and crouched down in front of him. "Food," I spoke,
handing him the pot. He was reluctant to take it but the smell enticed him in.
He reached out timidly, looking up at me as if asking for permission. I just
nodded and sat back. He looked down at the pot and removed the plastic fork
from the side. I watched him as he tried to savor each bite. The way he was
acting was as if I wasn't going to feed him again.
"You're acting like it's your last meal," I commented. "It's just been a
while." He said softly. I didn't bother to comment. It was obvious that he
hasn't tasted any food in a while. "Make sure you finish the whole thing." I
found myself saying. "Why do you care?" He spat back, immediately backtracking
with his eyes wide. "I mean- I'm sorry." He gabbled. "Calm down. I said I'm not
going to hurt you."
I didn't think he believed me, but his shoulders relaxed a little more. He
didn't take long to finish the pot. When he did, he held onto it nervously. I
gently took it from him and moved back to the door, knocking for Tae's
attention. I waited for him to check it was me before opening up. "Namjoon says
the bath is ready." He said quietly. "Thanks. Escort him down will you? I'll be
there in a minute." I requested, not waiting for a reply. I made my way down to
the small kitchen and dumped the pot into the bin. I didn't notice Namjoon
until he spoke. "The bath is all done for you." He said. "I know- Tae mentioned
it. And thanks." I said, offering him a smile. He returned the gesture before I
turned back and walked down to my room. The way this building is set out is
like a large apartment, except it's used for a drug dealing business. We all
stay here, it makes it easier for us all seeming as this place is in the middle
of nowhere.
Tae stood beside the large shaped bath in my room, holding onto the chains even
though he couldn't go anywhere. "Do you need me to stay Boss?" He asked. I
looked at the boy, silently asking for his response. He didn't have to say
anything, it was obvious he was terrified of Taehyung. "No, I'll be fine," I
said, watching the relief flood the boy's face. Taehyung simply nodded, handed
me the chains and left the room, shutting the door behind him. "I can't leave
you on your own. So you're going to have to get used to me being here." I said
before he could speak up. He just nodded and shyly looked away. "You could be
using the dirty shower, so you're privileged to be using my bathroom," I said.
"Why are you letting me?" The boy asked. "You need to undress unless you plan
on bathing fully clothed," I spoke as I dropped the chains, avoiding the
question completely. He waited for a moment before turning away and undressing.
I had to keep an eye on him in-case he decided to do something stupid. I
focused my gaze on his hair instead so that I didn't feel so awkward.
He kept his back to me until I turned him by the shoulders. He wouldn't look at
me but I could see his face was flushed red. As bony as he seemed, you couldn't
miss the soft outline of abs. I was expecting ribs and bones but I was shocked
to find different. I raised his wrists up so that I could put in the code to
unlock the padlock. The chains fell to the floor and were replaced with a pair
of handcuffs, one on his wrist and the other on a handle of the bathtub. I
stepped away and sat down by the sink, folding my arms into a comfortable
position. He dwindled for a moment before moving closer to the tub and climbing
in. I couldn't help but watch his waist sink into the water and the way it
rippled around him. I bit hard on my lip and looked away. The cuffs had a long,
thick chain attached that let him move his arm to reach the soap to clean
properly so that he wasn't just left with one arm. Neither of us spoke, he just
cleaned the dirt from himself, revealing all of his tanned skin that was
covered in water droplets.
I moved from my seat and scooped up his old clothes, dumping them in a basket.
I felt his eyes on me as I walked to the cupboard and looked through some
clothes. I picked out a basic white tee and sweatpants until his own clothes
were clean. Finally, he spoke up. "Why are you doing this for me?" He asked.
Again, I avoided his question with another question. "What is your name?"
He looked at me for a moment before he answered. "Hoseok. What can I call you?"
He asked softly. I ached to say Yoongi, just because I wanted to hear my name
on his tongue. But I kept up the act and just said, "Suga." He just nodded and
rinsed off the soap, avoiding my gaze. He finished washing and placed the soap
back into the disc, his eyes moving to mine. When I didn't say anything, he
sunk back into the water, his hair flowing like an orange glow. Because the
bathtub was round and deep, the water now tinted white with soap covered
everything but his head. His eyes were closed and he seemed so calm and
relaxed, completely different from how he was before. I didn't want to drag him
out and shove him back in that room again, so I just left him for a while. It
was comforting to just watch him. It almost felt like a crime to disrupt him.
He caught a glance of me staring back at him, his tanned face turning a soft
shade of crimson. He bit his lip nervously and looked back at me. The tension
between us wasn't as strong as it was earlier. He didn't really have much of a
choice but to trust me at this point. Even so, he seemed to draw more towards
me than the others. Understandable really, Tae did hold a gun to his head. In
time he'll be fine with them. I don't think I have it in me to kill him. I was
just finding myself wanting to know more about him. This boy had no place in my
life. It didn't take a moron to figure that out. Even so, I ached to care for
him. I didn't want anyone to hurt him. I guess he reminded me of how I once
was. Innocent.
After a moment of silence, I moved from my spot and perched on the side of the
tub, facing away from him. "Who are you with?" I asked softly. I wasn't angry.
Just curious. "Black Beaks." He answered just as I predicted. "I'm sorry." He
whispered after I didn't reply. I just smiled even though there wasn't a reason
to and said, "there isn't a need to be."
"They told me if I didn't help them, they'd kill my family." He spoke up. It
didn't really shock me. It's the most basic threat out there. Still, it hurt. I
wasn't sure why. But I pushed it away and turned to look at him. I didn't ask
why. I wanted to know if he was confident enough to tell me himself. He seemed
to hold back, chewing on his lip. I reached out and used my thumb to pull it
back away from his teeth. His dark eyes looked up at me silently. "You'll hurt
yourself," I said quietly, retracting my hand.
"My dad used to work with them. He got them into trouble." He blurted out
softly, so quietly I wasn't sure if I imagined it. I dipped my hand into the
water, feeling the water flow around my fingers. Still, I didn't say anything,
I just looked up at him and offered a small smile. "He- he betrayed them I
guess. Got them all into a lot of debt. He ended up shooting himself. That's
when they found me." Hoseok spoke. "And that's why you came to raid us." I
finished for him. He just nodded sadly. "Where is your mother, or siblings?" I
asked. "I don't know where they are." He said. It was obvious he was trying not
to cry.
I wasn't used to people crying in front of me. I felt useless that I couldn't
comfort him with confidence. I just looked away and played with the water. "My
hands are getting wrinkly." He spoke up after a moment. I jumped back from my
thoughts and got up, taking a towel from the rack. It was obvious he was still
shy around me, so I gave him slight privacy to protect his modesty and turned
my head away. I heard the water splash around as he got out before he took the
towel from me and wrapped it around himself. "You can change here, there are
clothes on the stool. I'll be outside." I said trying to stop myself from
stammering. "Wait- you're not going to watch me?" He asked. I can't believe I
let myself forget about my own safety. As much as I knew about him already, he
could easily try to kill me. I wanted to retort back playfully but instead, I
spoke a quiet threat. "If you want your family safe, I wouldn't suggest you try
anything stupid," I muttered, quickly unchaining him before I left the room in
a quick march. "You okay Boss?" Namjoon said when he spotted me from down the
hall. "Fine. Fucking great." I muttered. He gave me a look and walked over.
"What happened?" He asked. "We'll talk later," I spoke coldly. As much as I
wanted to keep this to myself, Namjoon is like a brother to me. Plus if I
didn't have someone to talk to I'd probably go insane. He just nodded and left
me where I was. I waited patiently outside until the door creaked open,
Hoseok's face poking around the edge. He glanced up at me, his eyes fearful.
"Come," I ordered, gesturing for him to follow me. We walked past the small
kitchen where Tae now was, drinking a glass of water. When he spotted us, his
protective stance glazed over him. "Everything okay Boss?" He asked, posing his
body so that his shoulders looked bigger than they were. "Fine," I said calmly,
motioning for Hoseok to follow me. We walked down the hall and around the
corner to the right. There were four doors, two on either side. "What's in
those?" He asked cautiously. "You act like I'm walking you to your deathbed," I
muttered.
"I wouldn't be surprised," Hoseok whispered to himself, probably thinking I
didn't hear him. I just smirked and kept walking. "This door," I said, pointing
to the first door on the left side, "is mine. The two opposite are Namjoon and
Tae's." I said, turning to look at him. "What about that one?" He asked
timidly, looking at the door that was left unmentioned. "That's yours now.
You're going to have to stay here until we figure out arrangements." I spoke.
He looked worried but tried not to show it as he straightened his furrowed
eyebrows and looked up at me. "Arrangements?" He echoed. I nodded. "Correct. If
I were to just let you go, who knows if you would go to the cops or leak
information to vermin. And besides, you want this family situation of yours set
out straight don't you?" I asked, ignoring the sour taste in my mouth from
speaking about family. He looked from the door to me a few times before just
nodding silently. "Right then. Come, we can talk in my office." I said,
immediately marching back up the hall with Hoseok scrambling after me in a
shocked panic.
I took long strides towards my office door and flung it open, leaving Hoseok to
make his own way in as I got comfortable in my chair. Hoseok just nervously
stood there as there weren't any other chairs. "Now, I have a proposition for
you." I began, picking up a pen to fiddle with as I spoke. His head moved a
little to the side with curiosity but he didn't say anything. "You have two
choices. You can either, stay here and become a part of this business in return
that I help this issue that you have with your family. Or, you can do the
opposite and go back to black beaks and risk having yourself and your family
killed." I finished with a slight shrug. He looked at me for a moment before
speaking up. "What has the second one got anything to do with benefiting you?"
He asked. I wasn't sure if he meant it genuinely or sarcastically but I
answered him anyway. "Because, as much of an evil asshole you think I am- I do
actually care about people. So, what will it be?"
"I'd be a complete idiot to choose the second one." He pointed out. I raised an
eyebrow at him but stayed silent. Honestly, I was quite curious that he was so
comfortable around me so quickly and it's only been mere hours since he got
here. I pushed away the thought and gathered the papers on my desk. I'll make
some food later on. For now, you can either stay here or stay in your bedroom
with either Namjoon or Taehyung. Your choice." I said. He dwindled for a moment
in his spot. "Here." He murmured quietly. I just nodded and got up, walking
over to the open door. "Namjoon," I called out. Moments after, I saw him poke
his head around the corner. "Can you get a chair please?" I asked. He briefly
nodded and disappeared again. I slouched back in my chair and looked up at him.
"Do you need help?" Hoseok spoke up, looking down at the piles of paperwork.
"You won't know what to do," I responded. "You can tell me." He pointed out. I
hummed in response. It wouldn't do any harm. If Black Beaks were to get a hold
of customer information there isn't anything they could do. They can kill them,
but a few measly people wouldn't budge my income. They're customers. Nothing
more.
"Alright," I said as Namjoon carried in a chair for Hoseok. I just nodded in
thanks to him and let him leave, shutting the door behind him. "You can fill
out everyone's names, addresses and birthdays for me. They're all here on this
note. You just need to put the right information on each form." I explained,
handing him the pen that was still in my hand. He nodded, sorting through the
papers. "Seems easy enough." He commented. I nodded in agreement. "It is, it's
just tiresome," I said with a light laugh. I felt his eyes on me as I glanced
back up, catching the ghost of a smile on his lips before he looked away again.
It was honestly comforting having someone new to talk to. Refreshing almost.
He's young, more curious. He wasn't someone I had to talk to about serious
stuff. I could just talk or listen to him tell me about things he did before he
was taken away. Even so, I wanted to know more about Black Beaks.
"Did you meet anyone in BB, higher up?" I asked. He stopped writing for a
moment and looked up at me with a confused look. "Black Beaks," I said. He
nodded in understanding and looked back down at the forms. "Will I get into
trouble if I don't tell you?" Hoseok whispered. "I won't do anything if you do
or don't," I answered him. He furrowed his eyebrows again, biting his lip. I
reached out and stopped him again. "I said not to do that," I spoke coldly. He
just nodded, looking down at the floor. I didn't push him to tell me. He just
did.
"I wasn't told who was higher up. I guess you could kind of tell who was who
ranking wise. They called him Boss like they do here, but someone called Jin
runs it. At least that's what I gathered. There were two younger ones and a
group of older people too. I didn't learn their names."
"What did the younger two look like?" I asked, even though I was sure I knew
who they were. "One looked to be the youngest. Dark brown hair and a small scar
on his face. The other one I only remember him having blond hair." Hoseok told
me. "Scarface is Jungkook. Blond hair is Jimin." I said, filling in the gaps
for him.
"Wait," He said, looking up at me. "Why did you ask if you knew already?"
I shrugged. "Just wanted to make sure."
He looked away and nodded. He didn't say anything else after that. I just
watched him fill the forms one by one, his hand moving fast as he wrote. I've
always been a slow writer. I remember how I used to be yelled at in school
because I was always the one holding back presentations for my slow writing. I
just smiled at the thought.
A loud rumbling noise took me away from my thoughts. Hoseok immediately wrapped
his arms around his stomach, his face turning a dark crimson. "Hungry?" I asked
in amusement. He tried to hide his face but I still managed to catch his smile
again. "I can make up something but you'll have to stay in your room. You will
have to have Joon there. I promise he won't hurt you." I said. A flicker of
worry showed on his face even though he tried to hide it. "Listen, I promise he
won't hurt you. He and Tae were just trying to protect us when you showed up.
They're really okay." I said, standing up. He nodded silently and waited for me
to gesture to him to follow me. "Joon!" I called out from my office. I heard
Tae somewhere closer to me calling for him before I saw Namjoon jog around the
corner. I laughed to myself as he came over. "What's up?" He asked, looking at
Hoseok for a moment. "Can you stay with him in his room for a bit? I need Tae
to help me with dinner." I asked.
He faked a sad expression, making a small laugh come from the young boy behind
me. "Aw come on Boss, why'd you never let me cook for?" He asked playfully.
"Because we all know what happens when Chef Namjoon tries to cook," I smirked,
moving aside so that Hoseok could step forward. Joon just winked at him and
motioned his hand to the boy. I shook my head with a smile and walked down the
hall. I could faintly hear Hoseok say, "What happens when you try to cook?" He
asked. "Trust me, kid, you don't want to know," Namjoon said. I smiled to
myself and walked down to the kitchen where Tae already was. "Starting without
me are we?" I asked, gently nudging his side. "Someone's in a good mood." He
commented suspiciously. "What isn't there to be happy about?" I asked him,
scooping the squid into a larger pot. Tae raised his eyebrow at me. "Usually
you're moody. So tell me, what's got you all giddy for?"
I ignored the question and started on making a sauce. "I see how it is." He
said playfully. Neither of us spoke after that. We just helped each other make
dinner and poured it all into a pot. "I'll get the other two," I said, leaving
Tae as I walked back to Hoseok's room. I could hear laughing from down the
hall, which was honestly a rare find here. No one laughed. As depressing as it
sounds, it's true. We're serious people who hardly ever crack a smile. I guess
I just don't know how to be a light-hearted joker sometimes. I edged the door
open to see Namjoon telling the story of how he once managed to get food
splattered all over the ceiling in the kitchen and Hoseok laughing
uncontrollably on his back. I leaned in the doorway, both arms casually folded
as I watched them. A smile escaped me and sat on my lips as I watched them. It
was a few minutes before they both realized I was even there. Namjoon jumped in
his spot, a hand covering his chest. "Jesus Boss you scared me!" He argued.
Hoseok's laugh died down to a soft giggle as he looked at me. "Suga, is it true
that Namjoon once set the kitchen on fire?" He asked. Joon raised an eyebrow
but didn't say anything. I nodded. "I still don't know how he did it," I
muttered with a smile. Hoseok just grinned back at me. "Dinner's ready," I
said. The pair jumped up and followed me into the room we converted into a
large dining room.
We had really tried with this place. If we were going to have to stay here for
god knows how long, we may as well make it seem presentable. The walls were
coated in the cheapest paint Tae could find, a pale pastel yellow. The two boys
hung up photos of their families to make it more homely. I didn't. I wouldn't
want to be reminded that my parents hated my guts. There was a large wooden
table in the center of the room and a basic TV that we sometimes watched in the
corner. The floor was basic concrete like it is in the entire building. Except
for our rooms and the kitchen, this was the only room that wasn't grey concrete
on the floors, walls, and the ceiling.
Hoseok stood patiently next to me, looking a little worried. I nudged him as if
to say he could sit down but instead, he turned to look at me and held his
wrists out. "I thought I'd need to be chained somewhere." He said quietly. The
playful glint in his eyes was gone now. I looked back at him, mentally kicking
myself. I know I'm getting too close already. Too friendly. But I wanted to
give the kid a break at least. "I don't think you'll try anything anyway," I
said softly, earning a look from Joon. I quickly backtracked and said, "Not
with all three of us here anyway."
Hoseok just nodded silently and went to sit down. Namjoon grabbed my wrist
before I could do the same. "You're getting close to a prisoner. He called you
Suga." He whispered. I glanced at the young boy then back at Namjoon. "I told
him he could," I said. "Exactly my point. He is a prisoner. I'm fine with him
being here, he's a cool guy. But- if you get too close then-"
"I won't." I interrupted him. "I just want him to feel comfortable here.
Besides, he's already starting work in the office, filling out forms for me." I
added. "As long as your sure." He said. "I am." I lied, forcing a smile and
walking away.

It's funny just how close you can feel to someone that you hardly know.
Honestly, it scared me. Hoseok has only been here for a few days and I feel the
need to constantly protect him. And it's starting to get to me. I've never
really been someone to be maternal. People know me as cold and distant. Quite
frankly, I'd like it to stay that way. Namjoon and I may be close, closer than
I am with Taehyung, but even so- I hate to act like I really care. I'd probably
kick myself if I let anyone on. But Joon isn't stupid. He can see right through
me. It's just an unfortunate trait that he gained and he's not shy to use it.
When we first met, I was timider. I grew a hard shell around me over the years
but I guess as he knew me when I was vulnerable, it's easier for him to see who
I really am. Or was, as I like to think of it.
I remember how he was completely different to me. He was straightforward,
confident and organized. He was the sort of person I looked up to and wanted to
be. Even though he's a year younger, he still loomed over me and acted older
than he was. I guess being around him for so long made me like him. Except with
the number of issues on my shoulders I became cold and heartless. Never have I
had someone that I felt the need to care for. My parents were a different
story. They went to their jobs and so on, they're adults, they didn't need me
as a younger person would. Hoseok however, he's young. He's dealing with a lot
of shit for his age. I guess it didn't help that his Dad abandoned them all
with his debt issues. There's something about that boy that brings out a need
in me to care for him. I could have so easily of shot him. But I just couldn't.
Even if his presence could bring me a hell of a lot of trouble.
It's been too quiet here. Guaranteed it's only been a few days. But even so,
things shouldn't be this quiet. This calm. I wasn't entirely sure if Jin even
cares enough for Hoseok to get him back. I'd imagine that after he failed to
get anything from us, and got held here in the process- that he'd even be
wanting Hoseok back. Regardless, four is better than three. Their attacks are
so random. He's smart. He knows that if each raid was the same day, same time,
every time, that we would easily catch on. Instead, he randomly chooses a space
of time between each one. Sometimes he's not even here. Sometimes he tries to
catch out one of my boys just to shoot my numbers down. Other times he manages
to sneak a spy in.
That's when it hit me. How I could have been so stupid before utterly baffled
me. I immediately shot up from my chair and stormed towards the door. I
stopped, my hand resting on the handle. If Hoseok really was a spy, I couldn't
just storm in there and demand answers. With things like this, you need to be
smart and act dumb.
I took a deep breath to calm my raging anger and slowly opened the door. I had
Taehyung checking in on Hoseok every hour, so Namjoon was most likely in the
back room. Just as I had thought, he was. He stood by the counter with his
gloves on, measuring powder and counting pills to go into small clear bags.
"Namjoon," I spoke up as calmly as I could muster. He looked up and pulled the
mask down to cover his chin. "I'm a bit busy." He said. "In my office. Now." I
said, shooting him a warning look. He firmly nodded, cleaning away everything
into a locked drawer. I marched back down to my office, walking into Tae as he
turned the corner. "Sorry," He apologized. "Hey, you okay Boss?" He asked. "I'm
fine. Just keep an eye on him." I murmured as if anyone else had a chance to
hear. But you know what they say, the walls have ears. He looked a little
confused and slightly worried but didn't argue, stepping aside to let me and
Namjoon pass him.
Anger was coursing my body. Mostly at myself. I flung into my chair and
clenched my fists, taking deep breaths to stop myself from screaming in rage.
Namjoon calmly closed the door and sat down opposite me. "I've had a
realization today," I spoke, looking up at him. "Of how stupid I am."
Namjoon raised an eyebrow curiously. He didn't say anything. "I was thinking
about how things have been too quiet around here since the mite turned up. It
got my brain cogs turning. I thought- Hm, things just aren't right here. And
that's when it hit me, like shit in the fucking fan. This could all be just a
well thought out plan. What if Hoseok was just a part of it all? Acting all
innocent and like he knew nothing. It's like Jin knew. He knew that if he had a
young boy all bony and sad, turning up like a whirlwind with his pathetic
backstory on his shoulders, that it would force me to not kill him. He could so
easily be here to gain everyone's trust, to smuggle his way in like a dirty
maggot. Because surely, three is better than four- it is not? And Jin should
know that. So why hasn't he come back for him? With Min, we had no clue. It was
so well thought out. Him coming from a different company, acting like he had no
idea about Seokjin. This whole thing is a fucking plan to ruin me."
Silence fell between us like a thick fog. He waited a moment before he spoke.
"Then why don't you just kill him? It would end this whole war you have going
on in your head for a start." Namjoon pointed out.
I opened my mouth to respond but closed it again. I didn't have a response. I
had nothing. Because I knew I couldn't kill him. And it was bugging me.
"I can't." I finally said, my voice quiet and soft.
Namjoon nodded. "That much is obvious. Hoseok has brought out something in
you." He said. I glared at him, my face sitting with a nasty scowl. "You can
sulk all you want, but it's true and we both know it." He told me with a shrug.
He's been here for less than a week but even I could see that something was
forcing its way out of my shell. My whole facade was cracking. "If you believe
that he really is a spy, I'll put him in the holding room," Namjoon said.
"I don't want him to be kept in there." I murmured, looking away from him. I
traced out the lines in the wood of my desk, keeping my eyes down. "See what I
mean? It's like your maternal instincts have come out. He reminds you of
yourself when you were his age. It's like your living your whole life all over
again but this time around you control what happens. Hoseok is you and you are
the support you didn't have."
A small surge of shock and hurt went through me, making my stomach suck itself
in and my shoulders tighten. As much as I didn't want to accept it, it was
true. And now I was stuck in this situation and I had no idea how to get myself
out of it. Usually, I could handle complications, but this was too far out of
my reach to even begin to sort in my head let alone in real life. I looked up
at Namjoon, just hoping that he'd have an answer. He looked back at me for a
moment, his face with a look that showed he was deep in thought.
"As hard as it may be, you need to try and stay away from him. I and Tae will
keep everything locked away, and your little job you had for him, it needs to
stop. Don't let him have any contact with anything of our business. Anything is
valuable to Jin. The most important thing for you to do is treat him as what he
is, a prisoner. He is not your friend. He is not your lover. He is nothing.
We'll weed him out if he is what you think he is. I'll talk to Taehyung so that
we're all caught up on everything. You just need to do what you always do and
we'll deal with the rest." He told me. I couldn't manage a decent reply, so I
just nodded. There was something deeper there with Hoseok, but as Joon says-
I've just got to ignore it. He gave me a firm and strict nod and left the
office, closing the door behind him.
I sat back in the chair and tried to relax my shoulders that had become sore
from tension. All I could think about was getting payback on Jin. I'd never
really bothered with his petty business. His was small, it was nothing compared
to me. But the thought of him trying to mess with my head like that made my
blood boil. I knew I'd always have people on board to help me with a raid, but
I've never wanted to use them until now. Logically, it wasn't the best idea.
But I wasn't about to just sit back and twiddle my thumbs. I picked up the
landline phone and dialed Remmie's number, twirling the phone wire around my
fingers. A few rings later, he answered. "What?" He answered sourly. "Ooh,
someone's in a bad mood." I retorted with a smile. I heard a husky chuckle at
the end of the line. "Suga, what's up? Got a body that needs sorting?" He
asked. "Not this time, actually I've been thinking. I want to plan a raid." I
said, getting straight to the point. "On Jin right?" Remmie asked. I nodded to
myself, "Correct. I have reason to believe he's sent in another spy. I want his
business taken down and his men killed."
"Savage Suga. Well, that's fairly easy to get on track. Do you want hands on
his stash? Money? Heads?" He asked. I laughed. "I haven't got use for any of
that. Take what you want and destroy the rest. I want no traces left." I spoke.
"Mhm, when do you want us to go in?"
"Have some people to keep an eye on their every move and their hideout. And
when they're out of there, destroy the stash. Kill them separately." I ordered.
"Sure thing, nice working with you." He laughed and hung up. I placed the phone
back on the receiver and leaned back. It didn't occur to me in that moment,
that the whole thing could blow up in my face. But yet again, my anger was
winning me over. I rubbed my hands together and stood up. All I wanted to do
was get everything out of Hoseok. At the same time, I knew that if this was
true- that I had to act smartly about it. I fell back into my chair, fidgeting
into different positions over and over again.
I jumped in my spot when a knock was heard. "What?" I called out in
frustration, watching the door open with Tae looking in. "Hoseok wants to talk
to you, Boss. I wanted to clear it with you first." He said. I just sighed
heavily and nodded at him. It was like all of my anger that was sitting there
like rocks in my stomach had suddenly washed away and I was left feeling
exhausted. Taehyung nodded and gently closed the door. Minutes later, he
brought Hoseok with him. "Do you want me to stay?" Tae asked me. "No, it's
fine," I said, avoiding eye contact with both of them. I could hear the door
being shut again before silence fell. Eventually, Hoseok spoke up. "Are you
okay?" He asked. I looked up in annoyance, my tongue cockily pushing out my
bottom lip as I glanced over at him. "What do you want?"
He seemed a little taken aback by my attitude but I tried to not let it faze
me. "I- I just wanted to ask why you haven't needed me for forms and things,"
Hoseok explained, looking down at the floor. I didn't answer him. If I was to
open my mouth, I'd fuck up everything. I have to keep quiet because he may be
standing there all innocent and pure, but could so easily be a spy to tear down
my business and my life's work. He looked back up at me, his face deep in
thought. It was like he was analyzing me. He suddenly moved, coming over to me.
I didn't say anything still, I was just curious as to what he thought he was
doing. I watched him silently as he got on both knees and looked up at me.
"What's wrong?" He asked, looking as though he was genuinely concerned. I
should be angry. I should be asking who the fuck he thinks he is. But I'm not.
And I won't. Because the way his wide eyes looked up at me, it drew me to him.
The last thing I wanted to do was scare or upset him. In my head, a whole scene
played out and I wasn't about to stop it.
"Come here," I said, using my finger to gesture to him. He looked back at me,
confused. I glared back, making him swallow loudly, getting up to his feet. I
stood up and pushed him back so that he gently hit the wall behind him. "What-"
I shut him up by grabbing his face and pulling his lips to mine. A soft moan
escaped his lips, his arms wrapping around my neck. I pulled his skinny frame
to me, my hands gripping onto his hips, gently grinding us both together. He
bit down on my lip, sucking softly as I kissed him back.
"Suga?" Hoseok spoke up, pulling me out of my dream. I snapped back to reality
and looked back at him. His head fell to the side but he didn't say anything. I
wanted nothing more in that moment but to act out what was happening in my
head. Instead, I pushed it away and scooted my chair away from him. "Go to your
room," I said. I could feel Hoseok's eyes burning into me but I chose to ignore
it. He silently stood up and left my office. All I wanted in that moment was to
hunt down Hoseok. Instead, I sat back and tried to ignore it. But it was like
no one wanted to let me do so today as another knock was heard. I swore under
my breath. "Come," I yelled.
This time, it was Namjoon. He didn't come in, instead, he stayed at the door.
"Hey, I'm going on my shift." He told me. I didn't reply, instead, I firmly
nodded, biting the skin on my fingers. "What happened?" He asked, walking in
and closing the door. "Why do you always presume something happened?" I ask.
"You're anxiously biting your nails, shaking your leg and-" He said, leaning
over the desk. "You have a problem with your jeans."
I automatically went to cover it although there wasn't much of a point anymore.
"So, are you going to tell me why you look like something terrible has
happened?" He asked me. I sighed heavily and rubbed my forehead. "Hoseok came
to talk to me. All that happened was I let my imagination run away with me.
That's all." I explained. "You didn't do anything?" He asked. I shook my head.
"I want to, but I didn't. But fuck- this kid is ruining my life. He's fucking
with my head. I want nothing more than to find him right now but I can't. Fuck-
I've gone and got someone to raid Jin's shit and-"
"You did what?" Namjoon spoke calmly and clearly. "Look, I was angry okay? He
could so easily have sent a spy to fuck with me all over again." I argued. "And
what if he's not a spy? You have no concrete evidence of this. True or not, Jin
will come after you. I highly doubt they'll be able to kill him. And he'll come
looking for you and your precious fucking Hoseok. God, how could you be so
fucking stupid?!"
I held back tears and rested my head in my hands. Only Namjoon knew how to get
to me. "You need to stop this. Call it off, tell them it was a mistake. And
let's hope they listen." He said. I just nodded. "I'm going on my shift. Make
sure you call them. And about Hoseok- don't let your imagination run away with
you. If he wants you, he'll come to you. Just call this shit off." Namjoon told
me before he stormed out. I jumped as the door slammed shut.
I wouldn't take this from anyone else. But with Namjoon, he knows what he's
talking about. He speaks and knocks the sense into me. I took a deep breath in
and out before I picked up the phone and dialed Remmie's number again.
"Suga, changed your mind so soon?" He asked as if he could read my mind. "Yes
actually. Look- the whole thing was out of spite and I hadn't thought it
through. Namjoon will have my head if this goes through. Just please, don't go
through with this." I explained.
"Wait- you're going to let him talk you out of this? You're his boss, he's not
yours." Remmie argued. "You don't understand okay? Just don't go through with
this." I said, not letting him say anything else as I hung up the phone. I
groaned and let my head fall onto the desk. An aroma of food was floating in
from the kitchen, making my stomach groan with me. I got up to help Taehyung
with dinner but stopped by the corridor that leads down to Hoseok's room. I
couldn't help but check in on him. But to my surprise, the room was empty.
"What?" I asked myself. I left his room and walked down to the kitchen where
Tae was showing Hoseok how to prepare a side sauce. "There you are," I spoke
up.
Both of them turned, Tae looking back at the food but Hoseok watching me
silently. I looked back at him, sending a small smile to let him know I was
okay. He smiled back at me and turned back to the sauce he was stirring.
"Smells good," I commented.
"Better than you," Tae said. "You were never a comedian, I suggest giving it up
because you won't make a living from it." I retorted. Hoseok let out a quiet
laugh while Tae just playfully glared at me. I smiled and shrugged at him
before leaving the kitchen to set the table. As I was setting down glasses, I
felt someone watching me. I looked up. Hoseok looked back at me, his eyes
searching for something. First Namjoon tells me not to pursue anything, the
next he's telling me to let Hoseok come to me. What am I supposed to do? Ignore
him completely or be open to letting him make his way to me if he wanted to?
Why am I even overthinking it all? I looked away in thought. I guess there's
always been something there in me that wanted to eventually find someone. But
my sour and stubborn self wouldn't let it. When I tried dating, I hated it. I
told myself it was bullshit. And now that someone has waltzed into my life,
it's like all of those past thoughts just melted away. It was the worst
scenario I could think of to fall in love with someone. And even with feelings
developing, I still don't know if this boy is a spy or not. But even so- I
found myself unable to care. Feelings destroy your sense.
I shook my head of the thoughts as Tae brought in a big crockpot and set it
down on the table. Hoseok dwindled in his spot for a moment, his eyes moving
from two chairs, one beside me and the other beside Taehyung. I sat down,
trying to avoid eye contact with him. He waited a moment longer before sitting
down in the chair across from me. It bothered me but I wasn't sure why. But I
simply ignored it and served some food on my plate, complimenting Tae on the
dinner. I forced myself to swallow the food, chewing over and over again to
avoid talking to anyone. It seemed as though I didn't have to though, Taehyung
brought up something that Hoseok seemed to have interest in and the pair
started talking about it. I tuned out and stared down at my plate. I forced
down more of the food before I stood up and excused myself.
All I wanted to do was collapse into my bed and I was fully intending on doing
so until I was interrupted before I even managed to close my bedroom door.
"Suga?" Hoseok's soft voice spoke up. I felt so mentally exhausted from
overthinking everything today that I just didn't have the energy to turn him
away. I turned to face him. His wide eyes looked up at me as he spoke. "I- I
don't want to annoy you, but I just- I really need to know if you're okay." He
murmured. I gestured my hand to him, walking into my bedroom. He followed me in
and leaned against the door to shut it.
I didn't want to talk, I just wanted someone to hold. I wanted to feel the
warmth. So I kept walking until I reached my bed and sat down on it. He looked
at me to the bed then back at me, a slight look of shock on his face. "It's not
a sex thing, don't look so scared," I assured him. "Then- what is it?" He asked
me. "Just shut your mouth and lay with me." I snapped half-heartedly. I could
have sworn I caught a smile on his lips before it disappeared and he crawled up
beside me. I let myself fall back against the pillows, staring up at the
ceiling. Hoseok stayed sat up with his legs crossed, looking down at me
curiously.
"You look like a puppy when you look at me like that," I commented. "How so?"
He asked me. "Puppies are curious, playful and a pain in the ass."
"Am I annoying then?" Hoseok questioned, mocking being hurt. "Ever so slightly,
yes," I said, winking at him. His cheeks flushed pink and his eyes avoided
mine. "Puppies have other good qualities though," He argued softly. "Such as?"
He shifted to properly face me. "Well, they're cute. And mean a lot to people.
And, um.." He trailed off. "Is that all you've got?" I smirked. "No, but I
didn't want to start making puppies sexual." He said with a bright red blush on
his face. "Alright, what's so good about a Hoseok?" I asked, keeping my eyes on
him. "We're cute, funny, can keep the biggest secrets. We're cuddly. We know
where to kiss and how to-"
He immediately stopped. I raised an eyebrow and propped myself on both elbows.
"Know how to what?" I prompted. "Nothing." He said quickly, looking down. "What
if you showed me?" I asked. I watched as he glanced up at me then back down
again. "That's a shame. I was hoping you'd show me the best qualities." I said
with a shrug, falling back down onto the pillows beneath me. He shifted for a
moment. I wasn't going to say anymore. He will come to me if he wanted to.
"I had a dream last night," He spoke up. I glanced over at him. He wasn't
looking at me. His eyes were focused on the bed sheets, his face a mix of
confusion and sadness. "It was about my Mom."
I sat up and crossed my legs. He took a deep breath and spoke. "It was like a
memory. A flashback I guess. I remember she took me and my brother to a
fairground and she said we could play a game of hide and seek. And, um-" He
stopped abruptly, tears filling up his eyes. "When I opened my eyes, she was
gone."
As the last word uttered from his lips, the tears cascaded over as he broke
down in front of me. "I'm sorry," He stammered, going to move off of the bed. I
silently leaned over and pulled him to me. He buried his head in my neck and
cried. "She left me. She left-" He choked out. I wrapped my arms tightly around
him and just rocked him. It was so difficult not to cry myself but I refused to
let myself. I just held onto him until he had cried everything out of him. I
wasn't one to know how to talk to people. Honestly, I felt awkward crying to
comfort anyone, but with Hoseok I felt like I really needed to. I didn't say
anything, instead, I reached up and held his face, wiping away stray tears. His
eyes flicked from my eyes to my lips before kissing me. I let it happen,
pulling him down with me. But when he tried to touch me, I gently pushed him
away. "Not like this," I said. He just looked back at me with a disappointed
look on his face. "You're upset and overwhelmed, I wouldn't want it to happen
like that," I explained, softly rubbing my thumb across his cheek. He just
nodded and rested his head on my chest.
It gave me a warm feeling and butterflies in my stomach. It was such a foreign
feeling that I wasn't sure how to react to it. Hoseok held onto me like his
life depended on it, and it felt- Nice. It felt comforting to feel wanted. I
loosely draped my arms over his back and closed my eyes, letting sleep take
over me.
The next morning I woke up to Hoseok laying beside me instead of on me. He must
have taken off his shirt at some point because the sheets were wrapped around
his waist, revealing a bare top half. I reached over and pulled them up over
him. His eyes twitched. "You're awake," I spoke up. I caught a sneaky smile on
his lips even though he tried hard to stay still. It made me smile back as I
reached up and poked his cheek, revealing a deep dimple when he smiled. "Are
you feeling okay?" I asked him.
He merely nodded. "Thank you for helping me yesterday." He softly whispered
back to me. "I didn't really do much at all,"
"You need to credit yourself more," Hoseok argued. "Why would I when I have
you?" I asked. "That was just a tad cringe." He smiled, edging closer to me. I
just smirked at him and looked up at the ceiling, my hands crossed behind my
head. I felt his lips graze against my neck before he gently kissed the spot.
"You'll stop if you know what's good for you," I warned him. He didn't stop
though. Instead this time he bit down and softly sucked on my skin, making me
gasp quietly. When he pulled away I tried to sit up to make him stop, but he
rested a hand on my chest. "Let me," He pleaded. "I don't want you to feel like
I'm forcing you," I explained, chewing my lip. "I don't see anyone forcing me
on you, do you? I want to give you something back."
"Who said that had to be a sexual thing?" I retorted. "It's all I seem to be
good at." He murmured under his breath, but I still managed to catch it.
"What did you just say?" I asked. "Nothing- I didn't say anything." He
backtracked. "Who told you that?" I demanded, sitting up straight and looking
down at him. He didn't answer me. And as much as I wanted to push it, I didn't.
Instead, I cupped his face in my hands, my thumbs resting on his cheeks. He
looked up at me with innocent eyes. "Whoever told you that, is a dirty, rotten
liar. And I will not have you believe that all you're good for is a decent
fuck. That's not you." I told him. He just looked up at me, like he didn't
believe me. "You don't know me though. We've never talked like this, I've never
shared much about me, I-" He cut himself off. I took one hand away from his
face and rested it on his head, my fingers brushing through his hair.
"Sometimes- Sometimes you don't have to know someone for long to see their best
qualities. And sadly, you can't see them. You're a reader. You're so lost in
your own world when you're head deep in those pages that you never see me
watching you. You're naturally funny and witty. You know how to cook. You're a
fast learner. And, you're warm and loving. And you bring something out in me
that no one ever has before. You're special, you're kind and-"
I didn't get a chance to say anything else as Hoseok flung at me, his arms
tightly around my neck and his head buried in my chest. "Thank you." He
whispered. "I'm just speaking the truth. Just don't tell anyone, I have a
reputation to keep up." I joked. He let out a soft laugh that made me smile.
He pulled away after a moment, just watching me. I looked back at him before I
pulled him to me, his soft and plump lips on mine. He bit down gently, making
soft sounds escape me. I'd never be a bottom, but it's like he had an invisible
hold over me that made it so that he controlled who did what. I rested my hands
on his upper thighs and pulled him up onto my lap so that he was straddling me.
He moved his hips against me, grinding us together. Everything moved so fast
yet it seemed like it was in slow motion all at the same time. His body moved
with mine in a rhythm. I couldn't decide if I wanted to hold his face or run my
hands over his body. His hands moved to my hair, tangling themselves into the
locks and gently tugging so that I was closer to him. I groaned and picked him
up by his thighs, dropping him down so that he landed on his back. Not once did
we break lip contact.
I ran my hands across his bare chest, gently scratching down. He squirmed
underneath me and pulled away for air. "Take your shirt off." He ordered
breathlessly. "Make me," I whispered against his lips. He practically growled
at me, grabbing the ends of my shirt and pulling it away. He pulled me back
down to him, kissing and sucking on my neck. My breathing was erratic and
heavy, my hands tugging his clothes away. I needed him.
I grabbed him and flicked my wrist fast, making his back arch up and his mouth
fall open. It was the hottest sight I'd ever seen. "Please, please, please," He
begged. "Please what?" I asked tauntingly. "Touch me." He whispered
breathlessly. "I am touching you," I pointed out with a smirk. He groaned in
response, his head falling to the side. I moved my hand faster, watching beads
of sweat form across his chest. His eyes were squeezed shut, his mouth slowly
opening and closing again and again as I moved my thumb over his tip each time
I brought my hand up. I edged down his body so that I was by his hips and
sucked his tip into my mouth. The sound he made could have made me come right
then and there. He softly moaned for more as I took him in deeper so that he
couldn't keep his back down. You could see the soft outline of his ribs and
hipbones, sweat starting to form on his muscular legs.
"Suga, please." He whimpered. I twirled my tongue around him, making his
breathing hitch. I sucked on him harder, twirling my tongue around him. He
softly moaned, his hips thrusting upwards. "I'm close-" He whispered. I was
tempted to stop just before he came but instead, I took him through it, letting
the warm and salty liquid coated my tongue. I came back up, licking my lips and
looking down at him. His pupils were huge as he looked back at me. His chest
rose and fell fast, his hair sticking up and tangled. He went to sit up but I
pushed him back down again. "No," was all I needed to say. He just nodded. I
wasn't about to let him think he was only good for sex. I just feel like it's
best to give the air time to settle. This wasn't meant to happen, but it
naturally did. And if it was to happen again, it will happen like that-
naturally.

When I woke up the next morning, I felt much lighter than I had for a while. My
arm was draped over Hoseok's back as he lay beside me. I smiled brightly to
myself. Nothing could stop that moment, but unfortunately, I had to pull myself
out of bliss. I rubbed the sleep dust from my eyes and studied the crystals
that sat on my fingertip before blowing them off. I turned my head to look at
Hoseok who lay beside me. He was facing me, his eyes closed and mouth slightly
open. His back rose as he breathed. I ran my hand gently over his skin, but it
didn't disturb him. I felt content next to him. Like nothing could disturb us.
Nothing could break through to us. For once I felt safe. I felt loved. I felt
love for him. I took my hand away and lay my fingers across his cheek. "I think
I'm falling in love with you," I dare spoke aloud. He didn't move. There were
no signs of him being awake. I studied his breathing after I said that. Nothing
changed. In a way, I was happy. Because after admitting something like that, it
made me feel vulnerable. Like a fresh flower surrounded by dark and gloomy
streets. The beauty of the petals was in danger of being torn apart by big
boots and harsh kicks. But the bravery of the flower, to grow in such a strange
place was the beautiful part.
His lips were dry from being apart. The air had dried them out. And as much as
I wanted to kiss them soft again, I didn't. I refrained because I didn't want
to wake him up. Most look quite ugly when sleeping. But Hoseok, he looked so
softly beautiful. His skin was clear and tanned, his eyes closed and his hair
messy, looking like a fire across the pillow and contrasting against the white
pillowcase. His face resembled the way angels look in churches. He looked holy,
childlike. His hand held tightly onto the sheets, holding them close to his
chest. I started to wonder what my life would have been like if I had met him
before. Of course, it was impossible. Hoseok is young. Younger than I am. It
pained me to think that in the sixteen years of his life, so much had happened
to him. A mother who abandoned him, not knowing where his siblings are, a dead
father and being torn away from his brother. Not only that. So much has
happened to him and yet he seems so happy. Of course, that's not the case. I
know there's hidden pain in him. But I really wish I had met him before. I wish
we were able to. Because I feel that our lives would be different if we could
have. I don't know how. But surely it would have been better for us both. I
sighed. All I wanted was for my life to not be a mess anymore. But now that
Hoseok has turned up like a whirlwind, I found myself wanting his life to be
better too.
It had been bugging me since he told me. I want to find his Mom. She abandoned
him so long ago that anything could have changed since then. And with no
photos, it made it more difficult. I was about to tear myself away from his
side but he began to disturb. Dusty light shone on his eyes, making them squint
as he looked down at the sheets. I put my hand up to break apart the minimal
light from the one rectangular window and his face. His eyes blinked for a
moment before they looked up at me. Once again he made me breathless. They
really resembled marbles or crystals. The honey tones and specks of black took
my breath away completely. I moved my hand from above him and grabbed his face,
kissing him. He smiled against my lips and wrapped both arms around my neck.
This was peace. This was my safe haven.
I pulled away for air and rested my forehead against his. "What was that for?"
He asked quietly. I shrugged. "I felt like it," I replied huskily. He just
looked back at me with a small smile on his face. He looked content. But he had
a habit of hiding things for the sake of others. It's something I've come to
notice with him. When someone else shows distress, it's like he shuts off his
own feelings and comes to comfort them. He's like a pocket of sunshine. My own
personal ball of happiness.
"How long have you been awake for?" He asked after a moment of silence. "Not
long," I lied. "Are you hungry?" I asked. He nodded. I went to get up but he
tightened his arms, holding me where I was. "I don't want food," Hoseok said. I
just smiled. Something I'd also been thinking about was the fact that this
wasn't legal. I'd already done something I shouldn't have. And I wasn't always
one to abide by the rules. But- with Hoseok.. It was like he felt so pure. And
I didn't want to ruin that. Not yet. He raised his head and softly kissed my
neck. I slowly closed my eyes and breathed out. "You're making it difficult to
resist," I told him. "Then don't." He replied cockily. I just smiled sadly to
myself. "I can't." I eventually said.
His arms loosened, making me look at him. His face was sad, distant. "You don't
want me." He spoke as a statement, and not a question. My eyes widened. I held
his face in my hands and forced him to look at me. "Don't put words in my
mouth. I want you in every way. I want nothing more than to do that. But- I
really need to listen to the law right now." I told him.
"Who are you to listen to any rules Mr. I Deal Drugs?" He shot back at me.
"Please Hoseok. Just let me do this. I want to. Fuck I can't explain how much
it hurts to resist. But sex right now, it's off the cards. Please."
We spoke as if we were really in a relationship. And it honestly felt like
that. But I didn't mention it. Hoseok just nodded with a pout and fully let his
arms drop. "Come on, I'll get you some food," I said, pulling him up with me.
"I still need to get you some clothes." I sighed as I pulled on a basic black
tee and jeans. "But I like your clothes." He said. I turned my head and looked
at him. He had put on a black turtleneck with just his boxers. The sweater arms
fell past his hands and it looked almost like a dress on him. His big eyes
gazed up at me. For a moment I just watched him, thinking how it was even
possible for someone to look so adorable. "What?" He asked. "Nothing." I echoed
back. "Come on, you need some food in you."
"I need a lot of things in me." He responded. "Hoseok," I warned. I didn't look
at him but I knew he was smiling. I walked into the small kitchen and looked in
the cupboard. "I wouldn't bargain on an amazing breakfast. I haven't sent out
Namjoon to get any groceries." I told him as I opened the cupboard. "We've got
Lucky Charms, a small bit of Fruit Loops or some Trix," I said, looking over at
Hoseok. "Can I not just have water?" He asked. "No. You need food."
He rolled his eyes. I didn't question it. Honestly, I was happy he was becoming
more confident around me. "Fine Mom. I'll have some Lucky Charms." He decided.
"Please." I reminded him. "Please." He said with a gritted teeth smile. I just
smirked. I heard a soft chuckle come from him as I poured the colorful cereal
into a bowl. I reached to the fridge and pulled out the milk. Hoseok came up
behind me and held onto my waist. He was too short to rest his head on my
shoulder so he peeked around me. "You're too short to do that." I teased him.
He didn't answer, he just held me tighter. I turned in his arms and handed him
the bowl. He let go and took it from me and I got a spoon and dropped it in
before getting a mug for myself to make coffee.
"I thought you had to have food for breakfast?" He taunted. "I make the rules,
not you. Go and sit at the table." I ordered softly. "Can't I stay here?"
Hoseok asked. I looked at him as he spooned some cereal into his mouth, his
eyes wide and innocent. I felt myself caving again. It was so difficult to say
no to him. I just sighed and waved my hand, turning back to the coffee machine
as it spat out the last of the hot beverage, mostly at me. "What do you want to
do today?" Hoseok asked. I shrugged and spooned some sugar into the mug,
stirring it around and then dropping the spoon carelessly onto the counter
before I turned around. Hoseok was now sitting on top of the counter with his
bowl, swinging both legs like a child.
"Comfy?" I asked sarcastically. "Very." He responded with a huge smile. I just
shook my head in amusement. "What do you want to do?" I asked. He looked away
for a moment. "I'm not sure." He finally responded.
Today I planned on searching for Hoseok's Mom. But I wanted to keep that a
surprise for now. So I tried to edge him to do something that wouldn't require
me participating. "How about you buy some new clothes? Namjoon has a laptop you
can use." I suggested, taking a sip of the coffee. I winced at the heat and set
the mug down. "That's boring, can't I stay with you?" He asked. "No, I need to
do some work today. Besides, you need clothes so you can stop nabbing mine." I
told him firmly. He pouted. "Don't I look cute in yours?" He asked. I just
raised an eyebrow. He closed his mouth and just smiled at me. He jumped down
from the counter and put his bowl in the sink. "Leave it for now," I said,
taking his hand. He obediently followed me as I lead him down the halls. I
found Taehyung sitting at the table with his own breakfast. He looked up as we
walked into the room.
"Morning," He greeted us both. "Hey, can you keep an eye on Hoseok today? I
need to get some work done and I need Namjoon. He's just going to be buying
clothes." I asked. "I do not need a babysitter," Hoseok spoke up. Tae raised an
eyebrow at me but I just shook my head and shushed Hoseok. "Yeah sure, I wanted
to catch up with you anyway," Tae said to Hoseok. "How was that book I lent
you?" He asked. I left Hoseok with Taehyung and went to find Namjoon. I turned
the corner and walked into him. "Oh, sorry," I said. "S'cool. Where are you off
to in a hurry?" He asked. "Actually, I came to find you. And your laptop." I
told him.
He nodded and lead me to his bedroom. "What do you need me for?" He asked,
handing the laptop to me. "Hoseok's going to be buying clothes and stuff and I
need you to help me with something. I'll be in my office in a second I just
need to give this to him."
Namjoon nodded and we both went separate ways down the hall. Hoseok was deep in
conversation with Tae about something I wasn't really interested in. I
interrupted them and leaned over, placing the laptop in front of Hoseok. "This
is Namjoon's so please don't fuck about on it. My cards are saved on here
already so double click on the boxes and you should be fine. If you need me
I'll be in my office. Okay?" I asked. He nodded. "Thank you," He smiled. I just
nodded and left them.
I opened the door to my office and sat down in the chair. "I've been thinking."
I started off. "About?" Namjoon asked. "Hoseok's mother. You mentioned that he
spoke of her sometimes." I said. "Oh, well yeah. Briefly. As in I only know her
name and where she came from." He told me. I clapped my hands, making him jump
and blink at me. "That's what I need. That's all I need."
"Does Hoseok want you to do this?" Namjoon asked seriously. "I thought about
that already. I'll try to bring it up to him and ask how he'd feel if he met
his mother again. If he wants to, I'll tell him I've found her. But I have to
keep this a secret as I don't know if this will fall through the way I want it
to y'know?" I explained. He sat back in his chair and thought for a moment.
"What if you can't find her, or what if she's dead?" Namjoon asked. I bit my
lip. I hadn't thought it out that far. "I guess I just won't mention it. I'm
not sure, I didn't think I'd get that far."
He nodded. "Well, I guess all you can do is try and see what happens." He said
as someone knocked on the door. "Come in," I called out. Hoseok poked his head
around the door. "Um- what do I put as a delivery address?" He asked shyly.
Namjoon leaned forward and took a piece of paper, scribbling down an address.
"Here," He said, handing it to Hoseok. "It's my P.O. box, I'll get your things
for you." He said. Hoseok nodded with a smile and shut the door. "What's going
on with the whole Hoseok thing anyway?" Namjoon asked me. I looked away from
the door. "What do you mean?" I asked.
He looked at me as if I'd lost my mind. "You've actually forgotten? Just a few
days ago you were accusing him of being a spy!" He whisper-yelled at me. I just
shook my head. "The fuck Yoongi? You were so set on him trying to tear you down
and now what? You're in love with the kid?" He spat. "I wouldn't go that far,"
I said firmly. "Oh? I would. You can tell you're in love with him. Jesus, what
happens if he really is a spy. And even if he's not- this shit is illegal in
case you have forgotten. And I know you don't follow the rules, but if you
really love him- then you'll be careful with this shit."
I let him finish his rant before I spoke. "First off, we haven't had sex. I've
already laid that down with him. Second, we're not dating. And lastly, even if
we were to date, it's not illegal. Only sex is. You think I'm not taking this
serious? I know I can't do anything. I'm fully aware." I explained. He just
looked at me. "What?" I asked sourly.
"And if Hoseok is a spy?" Namjoon asked. I sighed heavily and rubbed my
forehead. "Thinking about it now, y'know with a clear head and all- I really
don't think he is. I mean, think about it. He hasn't gone near any pills or the
stash. He hasn't raided any files, he hasn't asked questions. He always wants
to be by my side. There's no way for him to make contact outside of this
building. He's made food in that kitchen and there's a door that he could have
got through. Compare him to Min. Don't you think that they're both completely
different? Hoseok has been dragged through some shit. He knows I can and will
find his family if he tries anything. So even if he did anything, he knows the
consequences. And I'm trying not to seem like I'm letting any emotions get in
the way of my senses but I really don't think he's here to spy. I think he's
here because it was a plan that went wrong."
He slowly nodded. "I guess so. I just want you to be careful." He said. "I will
be. I- I feel complete with him."
"You love him." He finished for me. I felt my face heating up as I looked down
at the ground with a wide smile on my face. Namjoon just chuckled. "So, should
we get started to find his Mom?" He asked. I nodded and looked up. "I thought
it'd be easier to find his brother first, but then again- I don't know his name
or where he lived with Hoseok," I said, mainly to myself.
"His Mom's name is Soo Jung, but that's all he's really told me. Apart from
that, she was born in Gwangju, same as him. He hasn't said anything about his
dad or any siblings." Namjoon explained. "I know he has siblings. He mentioned
a brother that he lived with and maybe sisters. His father is dead. But I'm not
sure about anything else." I pitched in. "She abandoned him and his brother at
a carnival when he was very young. After that, he never saw her again." I
added. "That's low," Namjoon commented. "Maybe so, but who knows what she was
dealing with," I said, picking up the phone. I punched in numbers and held it
to my ear. I could hear Remmie yelling at someone as soon as he picked up.
"What?" He demanded. "It's me," I said. "Oh, sorry Suga. A couple of my boys
are fucking around. What can I do for you?" He asked, immediately changing his
tone. "I need you to find someone for me. Her name is Soo Jung. She had a
husband who killed himself after he got into trouble with Black Beaks. She had
some children, one was called Hoseok Jung. I know she was born in Gwangju. But
I need you to find out the rest and send me any information you find." I told
him. He hummed. "Okay, give me some time. I'll see what I can do." He said.
"Thanks, Rem."
I put the phone down and leaned back. "We can't do anything for now. We just
have to wait and see what he finds. But not a word to Hoseok. Okay?" I warned
him. "Your secret is safe with me." He grinned. I just smiled and stood up.
"I'm gonna get everything ready for tonight's shift. I'll be in the workroom."
Namjoon told me. I nodded and left the office with him. Namjoon went down the
hall and I walked into the dining room where Hoseok was sitting with Taehyung.
"How's it going?" I asked, sitting beside Hoseok. "Okay, I think. Can you look
at everything?" He asked. "Me? Why?"
"I want to know what you think." He shrugged. I raised an eyebrow curiously and
slid the laptop in front of me. I scrolled through what he had added. It was
mainly sweaters and jeans. "Seems fine." I shrugged. He looked at me and leaned
over to click on another tab. "Okay. What about this?" He asked. My eyes
widened as I looked at the page. He sat there innocently next to me as if he
hadn't gone and added sex toys into the basket. "Have you bought any of these?"
I asked. "No, I just wanted to see what you thought." Hoseok murmured. "What is
it?" Taehyung asked. I just shook my head.
I closed the tab and pushed the laptop back to him. "Buy those if you want.
Only those." I warned him and stood up from the table. I refused to look at
him. "Oh, Suga- Who's taking the shift tonight?" Taehyung asked. "Namjoon.
You're not on again until next week." I told him before I left the room. I
dragged my hands through my hair and leaned against the wall, taking deep
breaths. I heard Hoseok before I saw him. He'd followed me and was standing a
little away. I grabbed his wrist and pulled him into my bedroom, slamming him
against the door. "You better stop this now," I growled. He looked up at me,
his eyes wide and scared. I immediately dropped my expression and held his
face. "I'm sorry I just- you need to respect this. I can't handle shit like
that. It's so difficult to not throw you on that bed already."
"Then stop resisting." He whispered quietly. I sighed heavily and leaned my
forehead against his, my eyes closed. My hands dropped to his hips as I pushed
up his top so that I could feel his warm skin under my fingertips. "I have to."
I finally said.
"Who would find out?" He asked. God this boy is too daring. I gripped his hips
tightly. "It's not about who would find out. You're young. Please just- let me
do this for my own sake." I begged in a whisper. I felt his lips against mine
and it was like he had just flicked a switch in me. I kissed him back with an
inhuman hunger. I rocked myself into him, his soft groan bringing me back to my
senses. I forced his hips back against the wall and pulled my lips away as I
opened my eyes and looked at him. Already he was breathless, his eyes dark with
lust. "I want you." He begged. "Relationships don't have to be sex," I said
quietly.
"I didn't mean being boyfri- wait. Do you want that?" Hoseok asked quickly. I
held my breath and looked away from him. He was silent for a moment. "Can we?"
He asked. I glanced back at him. He looked back at me with wide eyes. I do want
that. I want it more than anything. I just didn't know how to say it. Instead,
I just nodded. Immediately, a grin spread across his face as he wrapped his
arms around my neck and kissed me. I held his hips tighter, pulling him closer
to me. I refrained from letting him grind against me. I just held him and
kissed his soft lips. His groans only fuelled me more but I knew I couldn't
touch him like I wanted to. He dropped an arm and gently pushed me away. "Are
you okay?" I asked. "Yeah- But if we carry on I'll just want you to fuck me."
He said with a blush on his face. "I love when you say fuck," I said. "It
sounds so dirty coming from your innocent face."
He just smiled and bit his lip. "Can we- try something?" He asked quietly. "I
told you, we can't," I said. "No, no hear me out." He said quickly. "Can we
just um-" He cut himself off. I smiled at his awkwardness. "Can we what?" I
said tauntingly. "Touch ourselves but not each other?" Hoseok spoke so quickly
I barely caught it. "I'm sorry I didn't quite get that, can you tell me again?"
I asked with a smirk. "Please, Suga-"
"Yoongi," I said. He looked up at me like a lost puppy. "Call me Yoongi, Suga
is just a nickname," I explained. He smiled widely and looked down at the
floor. I dropped my hands from his waist and used my finger to gesture him to
me. "Go and lay down. On your back." I ordered softly. He did as he was told
and crawled onto the bed, laying down but still perked up on the pillows so
that he could see me. I took a deep breath. I had to completely refrain from
touching him so I leaned against the wall opposite him. He watched me,
breathing heavily. I quickly leaned over and locked the door before going back
to the wall with my arms folded. "Pants and boxers, off," I said. He bit his
lip and did what I told him to. "Shirt," I said.
He waited for a moment before tugging his shirt off. I swallowed hard. His
tanned skin contrasted against the white bed sheets with his length touching
his stomach. "Jesus Christ," I whispered under my breath. "What about you?" He
daringly asked me. I just smirked and tugged off my shirt. He looked from my
jeans to me with a pleading look. Just to tease him more, I unzipped my jeans
and pulled out my throbbing hard member. He let his head fall back as a silent
protest, but I just laughed at him.
"What do you want me to do?" I asked him. He lifted his head up to look at me.
"This is what you wanted, so tell me what to do," I said. Hoseok bit his lip
hard. I watched him rub his thighs but he refused to touch himself. "Should
I.." I trailed off, rubbing my hands across my chest. "Touch myself like this?"
I asked.
He shook his head.
"How about this?" I said, moving my hands to my thighs. Again, he shook his
head. "Okay. How about this?" I asked, finally wrapping a hand around myself.
He nodded slowly. "And you?" I asked him. He propped a leg up and wrapped his
own hand around himself. I watched his lips part as he looked down. I kept my
eyes on him as I slowly pumped myself. We both went at the same speed as each
other. He began to relax and looked up at me through his eyelashes. His eyes
were so dark they appeared to be black. I bit my lip, resting my head back
against the wall and looking down at him.
He started to speed up and I did the same. I could feel sweat beginning to form
on my body. Hoseok's body squirmed on the bed as he pumped and squeezed
himself, his body coated with a light layer of sweat. I was completely silent
apart from heavy breathing, but I could tell Hoseok would be a loud moaner from
how he bit down on his lip and tried to breathe through his nose. He couldn't
stop soft whimpers from escaping him. I held a finger up to my lips, watching
him quickly nod. Fuck. He was so hot laying there. If I could have my way I'd
have him up against the wall, slamming him against it with each thrust until he
had bruises. I'd take him everywhere. I groaned softly at the thought. "Yoongi-
" He whispered, cutting himself off with a groan.
My name on his tongue sent me crazy, I sped up my hand and tried to keep my
eyes open to watch him. "I'm so close." He whispered, his eyes closing. I
didn't make him open them. I just watched him. I could feel my knees going weak
but I forced myself to stand. He came hard but managed to keep himself utterly
silent. His eyes were squeezed shut and his mouth was slightly open. I watched
as strings of come landed on his sweaty chest. I came moments after as he
finally opened his eyes and looked at me. My breathing was heavy and jagged. My
knees gave out as I slid down the wall and fell onto the floor, my head resting
on it.
I waited until my breathing was back to normal before I stood up and zipped my
jeans up. Hoseok stayed on the bed, his head to one side. I took my shirt off
the floor and wiped the come from our bodies. Hoseok took it from me and
dropped it on the bed before wrapping his arms around my neck and pulling me to
him. He sucked on my bottom lip, just making out for a moment. I trailed my
hand down his side and rested it on his hip bone.
"Are we boyfriends?" Hoseok asked quietly as he pulled away. I just smiled and
kissed him. I felt so happy and content. After a moment he pushed me away.
"Stop, stop. I'm gonna get hard again."
I just laughed and sat up. His skinny body was covered in goosebumps. "You're
freezing," I said, getting up and taking one of my sweaters. I passed it to
him. He smiled thankfully and pulled it over his head. Hoseok's hair was a mess
but there was a huge smile on his face. His eyes looked so full of love and it
made me fall for him even harder.
"Can you lay with me?" He asked, laying back down again. I just nodded and lay
beside him. letting our hands lock together. "I really like you." He admitted
after a few minutes of silence. "Ditto," I replied. He smiled and looked up at
me. "Tell me about your life." He said randomly. I raised an eyebrow. "There's
not much to know."
"Then tell me what there is to know." Hoseok softly demanded. I sighed and
propped my head up with my elbow. "I was really poor as a kid. I had a dream to
make music. But it didn't really work out." I started. "Why?" He asked. I
shrugged. "No one was interested in my music. It's a shame really when I think
about it. That money could have gone on food. I used it on bus fairs instead."
I said with a small laugh. "That was the only thing interesting about me. I
used to play piano but I haven't in so long. That was the only thing that
really took my mind off things. But it never earned me money. So that's when I
was recruited I guess you could call it, with a small gang of dealers. And now-
here I am." I told him.
He watched me, looking as though he hung off of every word I said. I smiled
fondly and held his face, my thumb gently rubbing his cheek. "Sometimes I think
there's no point in continuing this. The whole business. But- I haven't got
anything to fall back on. I'm as safe as I can be here."
"What would you do if you left all of this behind?" He asked. "I don't know
really, I quite fancy the idea of being one of those fancy pianists in the
restaurants y'know? I'd love a suit and shit." I said. Hoseok laughed and
rubbed my arm. "I don't think they'll hire you if you swear at them, sweetie."
"Did you just call me sweetie?" I grinned. "Yeah, well. I'm not sure if it
suits you actually. How about buttercup or cupcake?" Hoseok teased. "Don't you
dare. I think I'll vomit." I joked, pretending to be suddenly ill. He just
rolled his eyes and pulled me back to him. "Then I'll stick to Yoongi. Or Oppa.
Whichever." He said, looking away from me with a cheeky smile on his face. My
breathing hitched for a moment. Hoseok watched me but didn't say anything else.
"You just wait," I whispered. "What can you do? You can't touch me." He said. I
smiled and said, "I don't need to."
He looked at me with his head tilted to the side. "What does that mean?" He
asked. I just shook my head and lay back with my hands behind my head. "Spill
it," Hoseok begged, getting up on his knees. He looked like a puppy. The
sleeves on the sweater were too long for his arms and it hung down past his
waist. His hair was tousled and messy. I just smiled at him and sighed in
content. "Please tell me, please, please, please!" He begged. I shook my head.
He pouted cutely and lay on top of me. "Please, Oppa." He whispered. I
practically growled and spun him over onto his back, pinning his hips to the
bed. "Stop calling me that," I demanded. "What are you gonna do about it?" He
daringly joked. "Oh just you fucking wait," I said.

"You know this is a smart idea Yoongi," Remmie said to me. I raised an eyebrow,
dragging my tongue along the inside of my cheek. "You also know you can trust
me to make the best ideas." He added. That was true, I had to admit it. "I just
don't think it's smart to converge business. I like things the way they are." I
replied. He sighed heavily. "Do you care more about money or your little hut?"
He asked.
"It's not a hut," I argued. "It's falling apart is what it is. If you agree to
this, we can move you and your boys to a bigger place. A huge apartment of your
own if you wanted. I don't get how anyone would want to stay cooped up like
chickens in a concrete house." He explained. I bit my lip and thought for a
moment. A knock, however, interrupted me. Hoseok poked his head around the door
and looked at me silently. I just nodded and gestured for him to come over.
When he went to sit down opposite, I waved my hand and pointed to me.
"So, what will it be?" Remmie asked impatiently as I pulled Hoseok to sit on my
lap. I snaked an arm around his waist as he sunk into my chest. "Look, I just
don't know if it's safe for any of us. What if we get caught out with this
shit?"
Hoseok's body tensed up but relaxed as I held him to me. "I have everything
sorted out. We could have factories to sell legal drugs man. Not all of this
bullshit that could land us in legal trouble. We can move up on our game and
really take over this shit. But you have to trust me." He hyped. "It's not a
matter of trusting you, it's the fact that I could lose everything."
"What have you got to lose, really?" He asked, unimpressed. I glanced at
Hoseok. "You'd be surprised." I murmured. "Yoongi seriously, this is foolproof.
Let's meet and I'll go over everything with you." He said. Hoseok turned on my
lap so that his legs hung over mine with his arms wrapped around my neck. His
face looked anxious and worried. I reached up and ran a hand through his hair,
aching to kiss him. "Come to me. I want proof that this won't fall through." I
ordered. "I'll be there tomorrow," Remmie answered before hanging up the call.
I dropped the phone onto my desk and pulled Hoseok to me.
He obliged submissively, his neediness fuelling me. I ran my hands through his
soft hair, gently pulling his head back to expose his neck. My lips sucked on
his tanned skin, making him groan and grab me tighter. A hand trailed down his
side and to his thighs. I could feel he was growing hard. I smiled to myself
and then stopped completely. His soft whimper only made me want to continue but
I pushed the urge away and just looked at him.
"Why did you stop?" He asked breathlessly. "Go and sit down, I need to talk to
Namjoon and Taehyung," I ordered, completely disregarding his question. He
pouted but didn't argue as he got up from my lap and flopped himself into the
opposite chair. I stood up and brushed down my clothes before going to the door
and calling out.
Namjoon and Tae marched down the hall, both with serious faces. It wasn't often
I had to talk to them both at once. Namjoon took an old chair from the corner
of my office whilst Tae stood awkwardly. "Hoseok," I said, pointing to my lap.
He got up shyly and sat on my knee. "Sit down," I said to Taehyung as Namjoon
brought the chair over and sat down.
"I have something I need to discuss with you both," I told them in a strict
tone. Neither of them said anything. I waited for a moment before explaining.
"Remmie has an idea of merging our businesses together. He will be coming
tomorrow to go over plans and contracts. But- I want to know how you both feel
about this. Remmie thinks we can drop everything illegal and sell prescription
drugs. We'd be able to move out of here and live in a bigger place. I believe
he was exaggerating when he says mansion, but you get the idea." I told them.
They were both quiet for a moment before answering. "I think it's the best idea
he's had in a while," Namjoon commented with a smirk. Taehyung silently nodded.
He's always been the shy one out of us. He hardly ever spoke. But, with Hoseok-
he seemed to turn into a completely different person. Taehyung never wanted to
start with this in the first place. He was brought in just like I was. But he
had nowhere to go even when he had the chance to leave. So he simply stayed.
I never labeled either of them. But it was somewhat obvious that Namjoon was
higher up with me than Tae was. Even so, he never seemed bothered. "Joon," I
spoke quietly, grabbing his attention. "Take Hoseok to get something to eat
please. I need to talk to Taehyung." Never once did I take my eyes off of Tae.
Hoseok got up and they both left us in the silence of the office. I wanted him
to speak first but I knew he wouldn't. I got up and walked over to the metal
drawers, unlocking the top one and putting the key back in my pocket. Inside
were envelopes, all full of cash. I took the biggest and slammed the drawer
shut.
Taehyung still remained completely silent. But his eyes burned into me as I
turned back to him and left the envelope on the desk, my fingers trailing away
from it. "Take this," I said, sitting back down again.
His eyes glanced like rapid fire from me to the money then back at me again. "I
can't-" He echoed. I leaned forward and pushed the money to him. "Yes you can,"
I said. He shook his head. I sighed, rubbing my forehead as a throbbing pain
emerged. "Take the money Tae," I said firmly.
"Are you firing me?" He asked, his voice so quiet I was sure I imagined it.
"What? No, of course, I'm not. But I am giving you an escape if you want it.
Look, you were brought into this without wanting to. And you haven't got
someone to go to. But this money... It could give you a whole new start. You
just have to take it and walk out of here, no questions asked. Or- you can stay
with us. It's completely your choice. But- it's also an apology." I explained,
my voice quiet. "What for?" He asked. "I never really took notice of you. I
guess you were just always there and always followed rules. I never got the
chance to know you as a friend. And that was selfish. So if you leave or not, I
still want you to take this money. And for you to know that I'm sorry."
He looked at me for a while, silently analyzing me. "You and Namjoon, and now
Hoseok- you're my family. My only family. I can't take the money, but I want to
stay." He said. It was almost like a relief flooding over me. "Hopefully- if
Remmie's plan doesn't fall flat on its face, we'll have a better life. All of
us. You can be your own boss if you wanted. Or you could finally try and get
your book published. Or your art. You don't have to continue this. There's
always an exit." I told him.
He smiled. "I'm surprised you knew about that."
I shrugged and said, "I guess even I surprise myself sometimes."
I let out a sharp and quick sigh and stood up. "Go and get some food," I
ordered softly. He stood up and just nodded before he left. I looked down at
the money for a moment before shoving it back into the drawer. As I stood there
I started thinking about everything. Mostly how things would be if we could get
out of this place.
When I was younger, all I wanted was for me and my family to live comfortably.
Without the worry of money or how we were going to eat the next day. I can only
hope that they do now, but I'm still not complete. I can't live my dream of
being happy with them when I'm here. Then again, they most likely hate me now.
Despise me even. And it hurts. I can't go on pretending that it doesn't bother
me. I can't lie to myself and force myself to believe that I don't miss the way
my mother would sing to me every single night, just so that I could fall
asleep. I can't pretend that I miss my father's strong arms hugging me and
telling me to be safe on the way to school. It hurts. It tears me up inside to
the point I feel like I could collapse from the pain. I'd do anything to be
able to hug them both and apologize for everything I've done to hurt them. I
want to sit with them at dinner again and laugh over our stories. I want to
walk through the park with my Mom again, stopping every couple of minutes
because she wanted to take photos of the scenery. I forced back tears and
angrily punched the metal of the drawer in front of me. I winced as my knuckled
throbbed but I refused to give in to crying. No matter how weak I felt.
Often I wonder how my parents would react to Hoseok. Would he become the apple
of their eyes? Would they laugh and hold him? Maybe he could make them forgive
me. Maybe. And just as Hoseok's name was on my tongue, he walked into the
office, holding a bowl of soup. I looked at him, confused. "What is this for?"
I asked, turning to face him fully. "Namjoon said you might want to be on your
own," He told me, placing the bowl on my desk. "Oh," I uttered softly. "Thank
you."
He shrugged. "It's okay," Hoseok said with a small smile. "Can I eat with you?"
He asked. To be honest, I needed the comfort, so I nodded. Hoseok nodded and
quickly left to get his own food. When he came back, we both sat opposite each
other, silently eating our soup. "Who made this?" I asked. "Me," Hoseok said. I
looked up in shock. "You?" I repeated. He nodded. "Don't get too excited, I
only heated it up," Hoseok said. "It's good,"
"What were you thinking about?" Hoseok asked me, his voice soft and comforting.
"My parents," I answered quietly. He nodded but didn't follow up on what I
said. I guess the hurt showed more than I thought. We ate our meals in silence
after that. But it was a comfortable silence. Neither of us felt the need to
ruin the silence with words. I leaned back in my chair, swinging myself from
side to side, just studying the boy in front of me. He looked up, noticing me
watching him intently. "What?" He asked. I shook my head. He looked at me for a
moment longer before looking back down at his bowl, finishing the last of his
meal.
It was insane to think, that in the few weeks that he had been here- so much
had happened. Even when I sit for hours and think about it, I can't quite seem
to get my head around it. I guess being on my own for so long, being isolated
with two friends- I was more prone to gaining feelings rather quickly. Hoseok
turned up here like a whirlwind. But thinking about that, it made me think.
Where are Black Beaks? Does Jin even care for Hoseok enough to come get him? It
surprised me that he hadn't yet caused a war between the pair of us. Honestly,
I felt terrified. Because at any moment he could bound in here with guns at the
ready. I wish he had done it before. Maybe then I would have had a chance to
not gain any sort of feelings towards him. As I sat there thinking about it,
the more paranoid I became. My leg started to shake with nerves. I had a sudden
gut feeling in my stomach and it didn't feel right. Something was off. And it
wasn't just paranoia and obsessive thoughts. This was a real thing. I tried to
force it away, I wanted to play pretend just for a bit longer. But I couldn't.
The fear was eating me alive.
I quickly leaned over to the old phone and dialed for Remmie. He picked up on
the third ring. "Suga?" He greeted. "Remmie- We need to get everyone out of
here," I said sternly, grabbing Hoseok's attention. "Why, what's wrong?" Remmie
asked. "Has something happened?"
"Not yet," I answered. "But I know it will. Please- we need to get away from
here. Is there anywhere you have free?" I asked. Remmie was quiet for a moment
before he answered. "I have a house that I was going to tell you about
tomorrow. I can meet you where you are now and lead your car there?" He
suggested. "No. I can't risk taking our car now," I told him. "It's okay, you
need to breathe," Remmie said. I nodded and took a deep breath although it
didn't do much to relax me. "Burn it out, I'll be there in the hour." He told
me before ending the call. I immediately stood up, Hoseok following suit. "Are
you okay?" He asked quickly. I looked at him before taking his face in my
hands. "Do you trust me?" I asked. He nodded like it was obvious. "Then come,"
I ordered, moving to take his wrist and pulling him out of the door.
Namjoon and Tae were sitting at the dining room table, chatting over their
food. Both of them looked up as we entered. "What's wrong?" Namjoon asked when
he saw my face. "We're going. Remmie has a place and he'll be here in an hour.
We need to pack up, burn out the car and go." I ordered. They both knew that
this would come at some point. So it was no shock to them as they filed out of
the dining room. I turned and pulled Hoseok with me to my room. "What's going
on?" He asked quietly as I grabbed a big bag and started throwing clothes into
it. "I'll explain on the way there, please can you just do as I ask for the
minute?" I pleaded. "But-"
"Hoseok! For fuck sake just listen to me!" I yelled, making the frail boy jump.
"Shit- shit I'm sorry Hoseok," I said, my voice much quieter than before. I
reached for him and pulled his shaking body into my arms. "Please- just do this
for me," I whispered, stroking his hair. He nodded into my neck and stepped
away. I threw shoes into the bag before grabbing the handles in one hand and
Hoseok's wrist in the other, marching down the halls to his room.
"Get your books," I ordered. Hoseok hadn't yet gotten his new clothes, so all
he had was what he arrived in and some odd clothes of mine that he borrowed.
"Is that all?" I asked him as he dumped books onto the bed. He nodded silently.
As I went to turn away, he grabbed my hand. I immediately stopped what I was
doing and turned to him. His face was terrified and pale.
"We'll be okay, I promise," I said, pulling him into a tight hug. "Suga,"
Namjoon interrupted. I was reluctant to pull away from him but I did so anyway
and took his wrist again. "We need to clean out the office," Namjoon informed
me. "Okay," I uttered quietly, pulling Hoseok with me. "Do we need to keep the
forms?" Namjoon asked. I shook my head. "Burn everything. Including the money."
I said, throwing him the key for the top drawer. "You sure?" He asked quickly.
"Burn. It." I ordered.
Namjoon threw everything into a pile on the floor, Hoseok and I also throwing
things into the middle of the office. Every form, note, and folder went onto
the pile. I quickly took the gun from the drawer of my desk and threw it down
the corridor. "Move out of the way," Namjoon instructed. I pulled Hoseok
through the doorway and stood in front of him as Namjoon lit everything on
fire. I watched it all go up in flames, the oranges contrasting against the
fierce red. For once, fire scared me. I could feel Hoseok shaking as he clung
to me. "Let's go," I said, tugging him away. I marched into Hoseok's room to
retrieve his bag and went to find Taehyung who was standing by the open exit
door. I could smell flames as a thick black smoke filled the corridors, making
Hoseok choke. I pushed him softly towards Taehyung who quickly took him and
lead him outside. "Namjoon!" I called, watching him appear out of the smoke. He
walked past me and joined the others.
The shock of seeing outside and feeling the cold air made me freeze in the
doorway. I haven't left this building in years. But Hoseok wasn't about to let
me stand there as he pulled me out of the doorway and into his arms, wrapping
himself around my waist. "All of you, run," Tae told us as he took out his own
lighter. I grabbed Hoseok and pulled him fast away from the building as Tae lit
the car up into flames. Namjoon was quick to follow with Taehyung finally
catching up. A massive booming noise and the impact of the explosion made us
all fall to the ground. I gripped onto Hoseok's hand, rubbing my head after
hitting it on the ground.
"Jesus, Tae-" I muttered. "What else did you want me to do? Wait for you
pansies to run off?" He retorted. I raised an eyebrow at the sudden comeback.
My hand was still tightly gripping onto Hoseok's. I pulled him closer to me as
I stood up catching a look at his face. "Come here," I said- pulling him to my
chest. "Where's Remmie?" Tae asked, looking around the large field. "He'll be
here," I said firmly. It only took moments before we were blinded by bright car
lights. Remmie jumped out of the driver's door and waved us over. I lead Hoseok
with an arm wrapped tightly around him to the car, the other two following
behind us.
"You really like to make a scene," Remmie commented on the fire. "It wasn't
meant to turn out like that," I muttered. "Right well, get in. This place is
quite a while away so you might as well sleep in the car." He told us. I nodded
and got in the back with Hoseok beside me. Namjoon and Taehyung sat in the
seats in front with Remmie at the driver's wheel. As I glanced out the window,
only now was I realizing how dark it was. The burning fire contrasted against
the seeping blue. However, I didn't take it in for very long. I turned my
attention to Hoseok and whispered, "go to sleep," pushing his head gently onto
my shoulder. He was quick to close his eyes, our hands still tightly locked
together. I was still too on edge to sleep, but my body was having none of it.
I couldn't keep myself awake for very long before my head fell against the
window.
"Please," I begged on my knees. My mother stood away from me with tears
streaming down her face. "I knew you made mistakes, but this? It is
unforgivable." She spoke with a hoarse voice. "Mom I never asked for this!" I
argued. "You have every choice to leave. You just refuse to!" My dad chimed in.
"I don't have a choice. I was brought in and now I can't get out of it. I just
wanted to be able to feed you. Neither of you eats. Don't you realize how much
that scares me?" I cried. But nothing seemed to get through to them. They just
shook their heads. I heaved for air, my lungs burning and eyes stinging.
"Please- Please just understand that this is best." I pleaded.
"Best?!" Mom screamed. My dad held her to his chest as she sobbed. "I thought
you were our son." He told me. His voice was cold. Never had he spoken to me
like that. It tore me to pieces. I bowed down to them, crying my heart out. "I
just wanted to be able to feed you both, for you to not be stressed anymore." I
choked, looking back up.
They just shook their heads. "You're not our son anymore. We want you to leave.
Do not ever come back to us." Dad said sternly. I let out a loud wail that
sounded desperate and sad. "I'm sorry- please, I'm so, so sorry," I cried.
"Sorry means nothing now. Our son involved in drugs? It's everything we stand
against. Leave, Yoongi. Now."
I slowly got to my feet and looked at them. I could barely see past the tears.
But Mom had her face buried in her husband's chest and Dad himself wouldn't
look at me. This was it. I had lost my family.
I jolted awake, my eyes watery. Namjoon was watching me from his seat. "You
okay?" He asked softly. I just nodded with wide eyes. I felt shaken up but I
didn't tell him that. Namjoon gave me a sad look before turning back to face
forward. I looked down at Hoseok who was now clinging to my arm, still soundly
asleep. I relaxed against him, placing a soft kiss on his head.
"It's just down here," Remmie announced. I looked up and watched out the window
as we pulled up to a huge house. Or- mansion. My jaw dropped as I looked up at
the golden gates. "You're having a laugh, right?" I asked. "Nope. A guy knew a
guy who owed me big time. He sold me this house. And now it's yours." Remmie
told me. "I- You-" I cut myself off. I couldn't form a sentence out of complete
shock. Remmie leaned out of his window and pressed the button on an intercom by
the gate, talking to someone. I couldn't hear but soon enough both of the huge
gates opened, letting us cruise up the driveway.
I couldn't see much of the house as it was still dark. As everyone got out of
the car, all stretching and yawning, I picked up Hoseok and let him lay on me
bridal style. He groaned in protest for moving him but soon calmed and fell
asleep again. "Just through here," Remmie told us. I noticed that there were
bulky bodyguards standing outside the door too, which made me feel a sense of
safety. "We can sort bedrooms tomorrow, for now, you can all have whichever you
want. They're all upstairs." He explained, gesturing to the huge staircases on
either side. I was so tired that I barely noticed anything. I just wanted to
get Hoseok to a bed so that I didn't collapse into sleep with him on the floor.
I carried him upstairs and found the nearest bedroom, kicking the door shut.
Hoseok started to stir as I took him to the bed and gently lay him down.
"Where are we?" He groaned. "Shh, it's okay now. We're here. Go to sleep." I
whispered, gently pulling off his shoes and pulling the duvet over him. He
reached out and did a grabby hand gesture to me. I just smiled and slipped off
my shoes before getting in behind him, pulling his back to my chest. However,
he decided to turn anyway and snuggled with me. I held him tight as we both
drifted back into a deep sleep. I felt comfortable and safe here. But I
couldn't help thinking how long it would last for. But I could hardly think
straight as my eyes got heavier and eventually closed.
-
The next morning I was woken up by Hoseok who had wrapped himself tightly
around me in the night but with his face in mine whilst breathing on me. I
groaned and pushed him off, waking him up in the process. "Stop fucking
breathing on me," I muttered. Hoseok murmured something in response before
sitting himself up. "Where am I?" He asked. "Can't remember," I answered,
rubbing the sleep from my eyes. Now that it's brighter with actual daylight
coming in through the windows, I could see where we spent the night. The room
was all white with the bed we were laying on, multiple doors and big tv on the
far opposite wall. I stayed where I was for a moment before getting up from the
bed. Hoseok followed me as we left the room to explore. "Where is everyone?"
Hoseok asked me quietly. "Probably asleep," I answered.
The floors were made of marble, making my feet cold as I walked along it. "God,
my feet are freezing-" I complained. "We should go back and wait for the others
to wake up," Hoseok told me quietly, trying to tug me back. "But I want to
explore," I whined. "Wait until everyone else is awake." He said sternly. It
was like we suddenly changed roles as Hoseok dragged me back to the room and I
reluctantly followed him with a pout.
"I thought I was the one in charge?" I muttered as Hoseok closed the door. He
shrugged. "Maybe we're switching places," Hoseok smirked. "Uh, no. I don't
think so," I stated firmly. He looked at me with his head tilted to the side.
"What?" I asked.
"You'd make a good sub," He smiled.
I spluttered. "You're joking, right?"
Hoseok just scowled at me. "Listen, never would you ever make a good top.
You're always going to be a bottom." I told him, playfully touching his nose
with a smile. "Who says?" He questioned. "The stars, the gods, but most
importantly- me," I announced as I stepped up onto the stool at the end of the
bed with my arms raised. "I could change your mind-" Hoseok argued. I jumped
down and winked at him. "No, you couldn't, sugar," I said. He just rolled his
eyes and flopped down onto the bed. "Are you ignoring me?" I pestered. When
Hoseok didn't answer, I crawled up the bed and sat in front of him. He tried
his best to completely avoid eye contact with me until I grabbed his chin and
forced his face forward. "Look at me," I ordered. He submissively glanced at
me, still silent.
"It's rude to ignore people," I told him. "What are you gonna do?" Hoseok
answered. I raised an eyebrow and pulled him closer to me. "Do not talk back to
me like that," I said slowly. He just grinned at me. "You're such a brat," I
muttered as I pulled his thighs down so that he slipped down onto his back. As
I leaned over him, I let my hand trail up and down his bare leg. "Brats get
punishments. I think you would rather have nice things rather than bad things,"
"Who knows, maybe I want you to spank me," Hoseok said with a shrug. "Liar," I
retorted. "Try me," He spoke, raising his head up to mine. I forced him back
down onto his back, just smiling at him.
Hoseok looked up at me with almost a pleading look in his eyes. "No," I said
sternly. The look intensified, he even batted his eyelashes at me a couple
times. "You're such a brat," I muttered. "Brats are good, they have character,"
Hoseok protested. "Mhm, sure they do,"
"They do! We're like- the best kind of people," He exaggerated with his arms up
in the air. "You're the most annoying kind," I said, pinning his wrists above
his head. "Make me behave then," Hoseok grinned. I sighed heavily. "You won't
let this go will you?" I asked. He shook his head. "What? You want me to fuck
the badness out of you is that it?"
"I wouldn't be opposed to the idea," He said. I leaned down so that our faces
were extremely close and said, "Do you want me to fill you up hm? To fuck the
life out of you? Is that what you want baby?" I teased. He whined and nodded at
me, his eyes hopeful. I just laughed and sat up so that I was straddling him,
my hands by my sides. "You're so needy," I commented. "I hate you," Hoseok
cursed, covering his face with both arms. "Aw, don't be like that. You love
me," I grinned. "You can't promise things that you won't give," Hoseok
complained, his voice muffled. I reached up and pulled his arms away but he
still refused to look at me. "You can't blame me," I pointed out. "Yes I can,"
Hoseok said, putting his arms back. I took them away again and looked at him.
"I bet you don't even know what being turned on feels like," I joked. His jaw
dropped open, giving me an 'I'm so offended,' look. "I do," He protested.
"Yeah? Enlighten me, virgin boy," I said, folding my arms.
"No," He said sternly, looking away from me with a pout.
"I'm interested now, you have to tell me," I said. "No, I don't," Hoseok
immediately retorted. "Alright, tell me what you want me to do,"
He looked at me for a moment. "What?"
"How do you want me to touch you, Hoseok? I want to know,"
He seemed reluctant at first, avoiding eye contact. "Just touch me," He
whispered shyly. "Where?" I asked softly. After he didn't answer, I ran my
hands on the outside of his thighs. "Do you want me to touch you like this?" I
questioned him. He nodded, eyes solely focused on my hands. I stopped after a
moment and looked at him expectantly. Hoseok let out a soft whine. "You need to
tell me where to touch you," I told him. He was quiet for a moment before his
eyes looked up at me. "Do you want me to tell you about a dream I keep having?"
He asked.
I raised an eyebrow and nodded. He took a deep breath and said, "It starts with
a warm feeling. I know I'm sleeping, but- this feeling was so good and it
doesn't stop. I can hear you telling me to wake up. But I don't want to because
it feels so- good. I get pulled up from the bed and I finally look at you. Your
lips are swollen and you look so fucking hungry it drives me insane. Like you
need me,"
"Keep going," I ordered softly. He squirms underneath me before he speaks
again. "You tell me how I sleep for too long and that you felt so tense. Your
hands were so gentle on my hips, it was like I was made of glass. But- when you
fucked me it was like you had a sudden rage in you. And then I wake up," He
finished, refusing to look at me.
I was quiet for a moment, chewing on my lip. "Can I be serious with you?" I
asked. He nodded and glanced at me. "I'm worried. Sex is- a big thing.
Especially losing your virginity. Not only that, but this is anal sex we're
talking about. It hurts. It has to be taken by someone you trust. But also,
it's the fact of your age and that I'm so scared of breaking you or ruining
you,"
"I'm not a toy, Suga,"
"Yoongi," I corrected him. He just smiled.
"No, you're not a toy. You're just preciously delicate," I whispered softly.
"No one would know," He spoke after a moment of silence. "No, they wouldn't.
But there's more to think about than age," I reminded him. "Yoongi- I've never
wanted anyone more than you. I want to experience things with you. I trust
you," He spoke.
I let a hand trail down the side of his face. This boy- I'm in awe of him.
"Tell me Hoseok, how would you want to lose your virginity?" I asked. He looked
up at me, eyes wide. "Just as a theory," I added quickly. He smiled. "Sometimes
I dream of you fucking me against the wall. Then I imagine it going so slow, I
imagine you telling me things and it's just so calm and-"
"What things?" I interrupted.
A deep blush set across his face, his eyes darting away from mine. "Tell me,"
"I- imagine that you tell me how I look, and that- you love me," He says
quietly. I swear my heart skipped a few beats when he said that. "Sorry that
was really stupid," He muttered, biting his lip. "I do though-" I said.
I think it took him a minute to understand what I just said. His eyes slowly
came back to mine. "I want to tell you that all the time, just- don't tell
anyone," I said with a smile.
"What? You worried about your precious reputation more than me?" He joked.
"It's less bratty than you," I grinned. Hoseok just scowled at me, his lips in
a pout. I laughed softly, leaning down to kiss him. He loosely wrapped his arms
around my neck, keeping me there with him. "I sound really needy but- I really
just want you to fuck me," He said.
I snorted. "So romantic,"
Hoseok just rolled his eyes.
"There will be no fucking in this house for a while. However- I will think
about the gentle version of fucking your brains out,"
"Can't you just do it now?"
"What? With no lube? Besides, I was thinking of getting balloons too. They
could spell out 'virgin'," I smiled. Hoseok hit my chest, his face scowling at
me again. "You're so mean to me,"
I chuckled. "Yeah, I am. But you love it don't even lie to me,"
We fell into a comfortable silence, just looking at each other. I would have
gladly stayed like that forever if it wasn't for Namjoon screaming, "MORNING!"
As he burst into our bedroom. I jumped and fell straight off the bed, making
Hoseok burst out laughing. I groaned and rubbed my head. "Damn, that was hot,"
Hoseok commented with a smirk. "Shut it, you," I snapped as I got up from the
ground. Namjoon was gone by then, with only an open door left behind. "Come on,
I want to explore," Hoseok said, taking my hand and pulling me out the door. It
seemed that Namjoon was screaming at everyone this morning. I could hear him
screaming from down the hall as Remmie came running out in just boxer briefs,
yelling at Namjoon. I sighed and rubbed my temple. It was like living with a
bunch of children. Although- it was nice to see him so relaxed.
I looked back in the direction that Hoseok was pulling me in and saw Tae walk
out of one of the bedrooms. His hair was standing up all over the place and he
had a sour look on his face. "Did Joon wake you up too?" I asked him. He merely
nodded. "I'm going to kill him," Tae muttered as he padded along in his socks.
"Come on," Hoseok whined, pulling me along. "Can't I just take in the view?" I
asked, gesturing to the large balcony we were standing on. "But I want to see
the rooms!" He begged. I stayed where I was, taking in the large glass dome
window in the ceiling and the marble floors. Everything was white and black
with white doors lining the balcony. On either side were large grand staircases
and the huge front door between them. I could see security walking around too.
Hoseok sighed heavily and tugged me along. The doors lining the balcony were
all bedrooms. But there were two halls, one either side of the staircases
upstairs. We walked right from our bedroom and looked inside the rooms.
In one was a huge gym, another was a huge bathroom with a hot tub included. One
was a room with mirrored walls that I guessed must have been a dance studio
from the marks on the ground. The last room was empty. I noticed lines in the
ground that seemed to be engraved but I wasn't sure what it was. "What is it?"
Hoseok asked. "No clue," I answered.
"It's a pool," Remmie spoke from behind us, making both Hoseok and I jump.
"Jesus Rem-" I said quickly. "Sorry," He laughed. I looked back at the ground.
"Yeah, it's- some pool," I muttered. "Watch smart-ass," He said, turning a dial
by the door. I watched as panels opened in the ground, sinking down. Water
began to flow from the walls of the pool, looking like flat water fountains.
The room began to steam up. Excess water flowed into drains and the water
looked like a crystal blue.
"There's a lock on the door if you need it," Remmie said, looking at us both. I
was still in awe of it all to even take in what he said. "It's awesome, right?"
I just nodded. "If you're finished, bring the dial back to zero. It'll empty
itself and go back to how it was when you first saw it," Remmie instructed,
touching the dial before leading us both out. "Come down for breakfast when
you're ready," He said before bouncing down the stairs. "This place is insane,"
Hoseok said quietly. "I know," I uttered back.
"Come on! There's more to see," Hoseok said excitedly, pulling me back towards
our bedroom. To the left was another hall with more doors. But I didn't think
anything could beat the pool. Hoseok let the door swing open, revealing black.
He let go of my hand and fumbled for a light switch, suddenly showing us a
whole movie room. Red theatre seats and a huge movie screen in front. "This
just gets better and better," Hoseok said in awe. "What else is he hiding?" I
asked myself, leaving the theatre room and opening the door opposite. It
revealed an empty room with large windows, the only thing there was a large
white piano with a white stool. I stepped forward and let my fingers glide over
the delicate keys. I couldn't help but sit and stare down at the keyboard. I
ached to touch it.
"Play me something," Hoseok said quietly from behind me. I reached up
effortlessly pressed the keys, making a light rhythm. It made me feel at peace.
I felt so calm and innocent again. I couldn't believe I hadn't forgotten how to
play altogether. I was so glad that I remembered how to.
Hoseok came and stood beside me, pressing random keys. "I wish I knew how to
play," He said. "I'll teach you sometime," I said. He shook his head. "I'd
rather you play for me," He whispered, making me smile.
"What's in the last room? I asked. "Just an office, there's stuff downstairs
but I'm not really bothered about it," He explained. I nodded, snaking an arm
around his waist to pull him in front of me. "Would it be, so cliche... To
touch you on a grand piano?" I ask, letting my hands push up his shirt,
revealing tanned skin underneath. He just smiled down at me as I pulled him up
by his thighs and sat him on top of the piano, his toes gently sitting on the
keys. "You're so beautiful," I whispered, gripping his hips. "I'm really not,"
He said. "Don't say that. You have a glow about you that you never had before,"
I told him. "I guess happiness brings that out in a person," Hoseok said
quietly.
"Then I'll do everything to make you happy," I said. "Come on, we should have
some food," I told him. He sighed in protest. "Can't we just stay here?"
I sighed heavily, running my hands over his thighs. "A major flaw I have is
that I give in to you way too easily," I said.
He snorted. "As if, you're stubborn," He muttered. "Yeah and you're a brat," I
shot back. He just smiled at me.

POV-
"So? What did you call me in here for?" Jungkook mutters, slinking into his
seat. "Watch your mouth, kid," I snap. "I'm giving you a job," I explain,
making the curious boy raise an eyebrow at me. "Hoseok," I say quietly.
He rolls his eyes and drags out a groan. "Seriously? You're still obsessed with
that kid?" He argues. I lean forward on my elbows and stare him down. "Shut
your mouth and let me talk," I tell him. He just nods and goes quiet.
"Yoongi has fucked us over. Badly. The bastard probably thinks he's capable of
taking more from us. I bet he's sitting there with a stupid fucking grin like
he has the upper hand," I spat. "However, we can take his toys too. Jungkook, I
want you to break his precious boy toy," I tell him. "What's that gonna do
though, really?" He asks. "Imagine having someone you love being taken away
from you, imagine that Kook. Now imagine that said someone being broken in
front of their eyes. Can you see where I'm going with this?" I ask.
"Not really," He murmurs. I sigh and lean back in my chair. "I'm beginning to
grow impatient. I want you and Taehyung to bring Hoseok here. Because my boy,
we are going to get Yoongi to sign everything over. He fucked with us before.
He burnt everything to the ground. This time, it's payback,"
The boy nods, dragging his tongue along his inner lip. "Can I bring help?" He
asks. I shake my head. "No, Namjoon will only trust you. You are his brother
after all. Think of something, you're a smart boy Jungkook. Just get Hoseok to
me,"
Yoongi POV-
"Sign this and our contracts are bonded. We share all income, business, shit
like that. But also, it means that we no longer sell the illegal stuff. It's
too risky. There's a demanding market for prescription drugs and it's a hell of
a lot safer than what you're doing right now," Remmie explained, pushing the
paper towards me. I fiddled with the pen between my fingers and thought for a
moment. "Remmie, I like you but- I don't trust you. You act faster than you can
think," I speak. "Trust me, Yoon, I got this. I thought this all through. But-
if you need time to think then I can give it to you," He says. I nod. "I'll
take the time you give me, let me settle here first," I tell him. Remmie nods
and slides the paper back to him. "I'll be out most of the day, I have some
business I need to sort out. You'll be okay, won't you? Security is here and
everything,"
I nod again. "We'll be fine," I tell him as he gets up and leaves the room. I
run a hand through my hair and tap on the table. I wanted the day to relax and
settle into this house, but it seemed Hoseok wanted something different. Two
hands covered my eyes as he whispered, "Guess who?"
I can't help but smile as I take his hands down and pull him to me. "How's my
favorite boy today, hm?" I asked, massaging his hips. He just nods and looks
away from me. "I'm okay," He says quietly. "Did you think about- y'know," He
asks. "Hoseok you asked me that a few hours ago," I pointed out, making him
whine. "A few hours is a long time," He argues. "Will you ever give this up?"
"Probably not," Hoseok answers with a smile. "Can you not entertain yourself
for a little while?" I ask. He just pouts at me and walks away with a strut.
"Don't love me then," Hoseok announces in the doorway before he leaves. "I'd
like to know where you got that attitude from," I mutter to myself. I actually
had things I needed to be doing too. I got up from the chair and stretched
myself out before going up to the office that was just a little away from the
room we were staying in. The door was closed now so I guessed Hoseok was
probably sulking. I walked into the office and sat down again, looking at the
papers Remmie had left for me. I remember when I started out doing this job for
a living. I used to complain to Rem about it constantly. I must have been such
a brat to him.
"But my wrist hurts!" I complain, rubbing it with my other hand. "You don't get
to pick and choose what you do, now please- for the love of god just do as I
ask you," Remmie says, exasperated. I groan loudly and dramatically, flopping
my arm back onto the table. "You've got to work your way up, Yoon. You can't
just expect to walk in here and be up top. I've been doing the same job for
years and I'm still not where I want to be,"
"Years?" I whine. "That's way too long,"
"Then you better get started. You won't get anywhere if you keep whining. Now
shut the fuck up before I break your fingers," He snaps.
I can't help but laugh at the sudden memory. I guess I understand how he feels
now, with Hoseok and all. I just smiled to myself and filled out the forms by
hand. Everything was quiet for a few minutes until I heard a sound coming from
somewhere. It was faint so I had to strain to hear it. "The fuck?" I ask
myself. Maybe it's a cat outside? That's what it sounded like. A high pitched
whine. I got up and opened the door, listening out. The whine turned into a
whimper. Maybe someone's crying. Probably Hoseok sulking.
Waiting in the doorway, I hear it again. But this time I decide to find out
what it is. As I walk past the bedroom door, it's clear that it's Hoseok. Full
of worry, I opened the door and looked inside, the sight knocking the air from
my lungs. He wasn't crying but instead had his thighs clamping around a pillow,
his hips jerking into the material. His head was down and he couldn't help but
let out small sounds. I walked towards him and suddenly pounced, pinning both
hands above his head. Hoseok gasped loudly as I did so, staring up at me.
"What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Entertaining myself," He responds.
"I can see that,"
"Then why did you ask?"
I narrow my eyes. "Don't be cocky with me. I didn't say you could touch
yourself,"
Hoseok tilts his head to the side. "I didn't use my hands, does it still
count?" He asks with his eyes wide. "God, you're so bratty," I mutter. He just
grins up at me. "Sir?" Someone speaks up, clearing their throat. I turn my head
and look at a bodyguard who's name I didn't know was standing in the doorway. I
looked back at Hoseok. "Hands stay there," I order. He just bites his lip and
smiles at me. "I mean it Hoseok," I say as I get up from the bed. "There's
someone at the door, he's asking for you Sir," The guard says. I nod and close
the bedroom door, following him down the stairs to the large doors.
I didn't expect to see Jungkook who ran and clang to me. The guard immediately
went to separate us but I held up a hand. "It's okay," I tell him. Jungkook had
a huge gash on the side of his head that was dripping blood down his cheek and
neck. He looked so terrified as he clung to me. "What happened?" I ask in a
serious voice. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it again. Namjoon came
running down the stairs, immediately pulling Jungkook into a hug. "You didn't
tell me it was this bad-" Namjoon says, cupping the boys head in his hands. "I
didn't want to worry you," Jungkook chokes out. "Tell me what happened-" I
order. "J-Jin. I didn't want to Joon I didn't- I-"
"Shh," Namjoon whispers, holding his brother to his chest, swaying them from
side to side. "You have to help me- I can't go back there-"
"He can stay here, right?" Namjoon asks quickly, looking straight at me. At
this point, I was frozen in my spot. "Yoongi," Namjoon says. I blink and nod,
making Namjoon burst into a fresh set of tears. "Come on, we need to clean you
up," The elder says, leading Jungkook up the stairs to one of the bathrooms. I
wasn't even sure how I was supposed to react. I've never trusted Jin or anyone
who helps him. But at the same time, seeing Jungkook in that state- He's young.
Too young to be dealing with this. It was only a ticking time bomb before
something happened and he cracked. No one dares run away from Jin unless they
have a death wish.
I stayed where I was for a moment, trying to get over the initial shock before
I slowly made my way back upstairs.
Hoseok was where I told him to be, hands above his head and legs flat. As soon
as he saw me he let out a quiet, "Finally,"
"Hoseok-" I started wearily. "What? Did something happen?" He asks, sitting up.
"Jungkook's here," I tell him. His whole body froze as he stared back at me.
"What?"
I walk to him but he edges back from me. "Did you let him come here?" He asks
quietly. "I didn't know he was coming, he's in a state Hoseok- He- There's
blood and everything," I tell him. "What? And you believe him? You trust him?"
Hoseok spits out, looking at me like he can't believe it. "Hoseok, please-"
"You do, don't you? You trust him,"
He looked so betrayed, hurt and angry. It tore me up to see him like that. He
slipped off of the bed and pulled his jeans up. I tried to come closer to him
but he stepped further away. "Don't come near me. You have no idea what he did
to me," Hoseok says, his voice cracking. "Just listen to me," I beg him,
reaching out for his hand, but he pushes past me and runs out of the room.
"Hoseok!" I call, running after him. He goes straight to Taehyung's room and
slams the door shut. I let my arm fall weakly. I wouldn't try and go in there
right now. He doesn't want to speak to me and that's the end of it. As much as
I wanted to make it up to him, I knew there wasn't a point in trying right now.
There's no way he'd listen to me.
Out of the opposite door, Namjoon leads Jungkook out. "Are you okay?" I ask.
The boy just nods and offers a weak smile. "I'm going to let him sleep for a
bit, I might sleep too," Namjoon says. "You should rest, Yoon. You look really
exhausted,"
I felt like it too. I hate arguing with people. But with Hoseok, we'd never had
something like this. It's new for both of us to experience such a fight. It
hurt. I can't lie it feels like my heart is being torn apart or like I might
throw up. I'm not angry, I'm just sad. Maybe I could distract myself, I
thought. So I turned and went back to the office and sat down at the desk. The
forms were as I had left them with my pen sitting on top. I picked it up and
tried to force myself to write. I could only finish one before I threw the pen
in a sudden rage, slamming my fists on the desk. Sometimes I think- if I could
go back in time, I'd stop all of this before it even happened. No drugs, no
Hoseok, no love. Nothing. I'd go back to my parents and make them proud like I
should have done. But instead, I fuck up everything in my waking. I'm sick of
it.
I stayed there for a while. Although I wasn't really paying attention to the
time. It just felt like I was sitting there for eternities, even though
realistically it was probably an hour or two of me wallowing in self-pity.
Eventually, though, I pushed myself up and left the office. I felt I'd go
insane if I had to stare at those forms for a moment longer.
I ached to see if Hoseok was okay. It hurt to know I was the one to upset him.
I chewed on my lip before finally pushing myself to walk to Tae's door and
actually knock on the white wood. I heard some talking and moving before Tae
opened the door and looked at me. I couldn't see past him and he wouldn't open
the door fully. "Is he okay?" I choke out. "Not really. He's been having
flashbacks. I don't think you should bother him for a few days. Let him rest,"
Taehyung explained. It hurt, even more, knowing that I couldn't hold Hoseok and
comfort him. "Can I just see him?" I ask, placing a hand on the door but not
forcing it open. "He really wants to be on his own," Tae said, firmer this
time. I let my hand fall and just silently nod. We exchange a sad look before
he closes the door on me.
In primary school, I had a crush on a girl. I'd make her drawings and notes and
leave them taped to her locker. I believed I really loved her. She was always
nice to me, and I took that as she feels the same way. She didn't of course, we
were kids after all. But- I remember how I cried for days after she told me she
didn't like me. Like it was the end of my whole world. Comparing it to now,
that was child's play, literally. But this feeling now, it was eating me from
the inside out. It aches as a physical pain that I just couldn't shift. As much
as I wanted to see Hoseok, I couldn't. I wasn't sure where to stand anymore. I
care about Hoseok. But when Jungkook showed up like that, it completely changed
my perspective. Jin can be a nasty piece of work. There was so much to think
about that it hurt my head. My brain was begging for a break.
Hoseok's right. I don't know anything about what Jungkook did. I can imagine
it, but I don't know the facts. But I know that Jin will force his boys to do
what he wants otherwise that's it, lights out. Jungkook, being only nineteen is
young. Too young for this. Too young to risk his life. I was torn between the
boy I care about and being a decent human being. But I had no one to talk about
it with. Namjoon is with Kook, Tae is comforting Hoseok and Remmie is out on
business.
I finally stepped away from the door and slumped back into the bedroom, placing
the pillow Hoseok had back where it came from before falling onto the mattress.
If Jungkook hadn't of turned up, this would never have happened. Him being here
makes me worry though. Jin isn't about to let his favorite walk out like that.
Especially if he wanted to hurt him. Jin is the type of man who will never let
a grudge go. Even with security, I didn't feel safe at all. But there was
nothing else we could do right now. It's not like we can just keep moving
around. Jin's smart, he'll just keep sniffing us out. So the only thing we can
do is wait. As agonizing as it is, waiting is all we can do. Waiting like
sitting ducks.
My first proper run in with Jin was when he tried to completely tear down my
business. I was just starting to gain customers and he didn't like it. The
smart ass threatened anyone who came to me and in the end, I lost everyone. I
believed that was it. My run was over.
{ "You can't think like that, Boss," Namjoon said. "There's always a solution,
right? We just need to think of one,"
"I don't think there is a way out of it. Jin's business is way bigger than
ours. He's taken all of our customers and we haven't got fucking money trees
growing outside," I point out. Namjoon crosses a leg over and looks at me with
a gleam in his eyes. "What's that look for?" I ask curiously. "Don't you think
it'd be a shame if his stash was, I don't know- burned to ash?"
I looked at him. "You think he keeps everything in a fucking cupboard or some
shit? Jin's smart he wouldn't have it so accessible,"
He smirks. "No, not to us. But to a man he trusts? A runner? You'd be surprised
how trustworthy he is of his street runners," Namjoon says. "I have a plan," He
adds. I lean back with a raised eyebrow. "Do enlighten me,"
"Taehyung," Namjoon starts, "is a friend of mine. He's been Jin's street runner
for months and he's trusted to handle the stash. He even knows where Jin keeps
it," Namjoon says, looking proud of himself. "And you trust him?" I ask. "I've
known Tae for a long time. He's like a brother to me," Namjoon says.
"Okay. If he can do this, he can consider himself hired by me," I tell Namjoon.
}
Jin held a grudge against that too for a long time. It's been an ongoing battle
between us for years and I don't think he's about to give up anytime soon.
Although, he did deserve it for almost tearing my business to shreds. He's a
jealous man. He wants everything someone else has and he'll do anything to get
it.
My head was pounding from thinking too much but I wasn't tired enough to sleep.
I decided to get up once more and walk around. Anything beat laying on my own
just overthinking everything. As I left the room, I saw Remmie coming in
through the front door. "Rem," I spoke up. He glanced up at me and smiled.
"What's up, Yoon?" He greets, walking up the staircase towards me. "Business
deal went well. We have a trustworthy supplier," He grins. I nod. "Can I talk
to you?" I ask him. "Yeah, of course! Come on we can talk in the office,"
Remmie says, leading me back to the office.
"How did you get along with the forms?" He asks as we walk inside. "I didn't.
I'll come back to them," I say. He shrugs. "Doesn't matter, I'll write them out
later. So, tell me what's making you so sad?"
"How did you know I was sad?" I ask him. "Because you look like you're about to
break down crying. Tell Uncle Remmie," He says gently. I sigh heavily and fall
into the seat opposite him. "Jungkook's here," I speak.
"He's what?"
"Jungkook is here," I repeat.
"Jin's runner boy? Why the fuck is he here, did you let him in? Who the fuck-"
"Remmie," I say.
He stops talking and looks at me. "The kid's in a state. He turned up looking
like he was about to shit himself, fucking blood everywhere," I say.
"Seriously?" Remmie asks. I nod. "Namjoon told him to come here. He's looking
after him now. But- that's where everything just kicked off. Hoseok just froze
when I told him,"
"Hoseok was one of Jin's boys?" Remmie asks. I shake my head. "He was more
blackmail than anything else. His dad got into debt trouble with Jin and Hoseok
was kidnapped out of it. He asked me if I trusted Jungkook and- I don't know.
I'm trying to be a decent human being Rem. When a kid turns up on your doorstep
with blood all over him, it's not really being decent to turn him away y'know?
But- I don't know shit about what Jungkook did to Hoseok. He's never told me.
But he was so angry and upset,"
"Where is he now?"
"With Taehyung. I asked to see him but he said it's best I leave Hoseok alone
for a few days," I explain. Remmie nods. "He's not wrong, Yoon. You've gotta
put yourself in Hoseok's shoes for a moment. It must have been some fucked up
shit if he reacted that badly. Just let him calm down and then try and talk to
him again," Remmie said gently.
"But it's not just that- I can't stop thinking about how unprepared we actually
are. There's no way Jin won't come for Jungkook, and maybe Hoseok in the
process. This is all so fucked it's unbelievable,"
"We're a lot more prepared than you think. Jin likes to make a show. He's one
to play games. We'll know if he's coming, and we will be prepared. You don't
have to worry, Yoongi. I've got it," He says.
I rub my forehead and let out a deep sigh. No matter how much he tried to
comfort me, I still felt that we were completely fucked.
"Anything else you want to get out?" Remmie asks me. I look up at him for a
moment before shaking my head. "You should try and sleep," he says. "I only
woke up a little while ago, I'm not tired enough to sleep," I murmur. "Then
just rest," Remmie says. I shake my head. "Still as a stubborn as ever. I swear
I don't know how I put up with you all those years,"
I laugh. "I was great what do you mean?" Remmie snorts. "You're joking aren't
you? Jesus- I wanted to strangle you so many times. You used to do this
annoying fucking pout and whine constantly, you gave me such a headache," He
remembers with a fond smile on his lips. "I'm not stubborn anymore," I point
out. "Ha! Don't make me laugh. Once a brat, always a brat," Remmie grins. I
just scowl at him.
"Oh, and you used to scowl a lot. Remember when I flicked your forehead every
time you did it?" He laughs. I nod, rubbing my forehead at the memory. "That
hurt too," I mutter. "It made you stop though," Remmie pointed out. I pout at
him and fold my arms. "You're such a kid," he says. "I am not a kid. I'm
literally in my twenties," I argue. "Your brain is a child still. Actually no-
children are more behaved than you are. You're an angsty teenager,"
My face falls into a scowl. Remmie stands up and quickly flicks my forehead,
making me wince. "What was that for?" I yell. "Stop scowling at me," Remmie
orders with a smirk. "You don't realize how much it hurts," I whine. "I do
actually, my dad used to do it all the time,"
"Doesn't mean you have to abuse me too," I mutter. "Oh whatever, that's
nothing. Suck it up you pansy, it was just a flick," Remmie laughs. "I swear I
ought to-" I said, raising my fist at him as a weak threat. Remmie rolled his
eyes and let out a light chuckle. "They were good days though," He says
quietly. I nod. They were good days. Sometimes I miss them and sometimes I
don't at all. Remmie sighs and turns his chair to look out of the window behind
him. I take the opportunity to get up and flick the back of his head, making
his hands fly up to where I hit him. "You little fucker!" Remmie yelled,
getting up from the chair. I laughed loudly and ran away from him.
"You are such a fucking brat," Remmie seethes. I shrug. "You love me,"
POV-
"I'm here," Jungkook says. "Where is everyone?" I ask, tapping the ash from my
cigarette. "Namjoon's getting food, I don't know about everyone else. But I got
news boss, Hoseok had a fight with Yoongi. They're not even speaking to each
other,"
"Shit this is going smoother than planned," I mutter.
"I reckon I can get him to you by the end of the week. I just need to get
closer to him," He says quietly. "Good boy. How's your head?" I ask. "Fine,
I've taken worse," He says. I nod to myself. "That's true. Keep me updated. Be
careful with that phone. I'll be waiting,"
Jungkook ended the call and I threw the phone down onto the table. I took a
long drag of smoke and burnt it out in the pile of ash. I couldn't help but
grin. It's almost playtime Yoongi.

"Good morning," I greeted Hoseok, who was filling up a glass of water in the
kitchen. The moment I spoke, his whole body froze. He let the water overflow in
the glass before taking notice and tipping a large amount out. I wasn't sure
how to approach him so I stood awkwardly in the doorway. "Hey, Hoseok,"
Jungkook spoke up as he walked past me. "Don't talk to him," I snapped.
"I don't need you to fight my battles," Hoseok responded with a cold voice,
making my stomach suck itself in with shock. Jungkook passed me a look, daring
to look concerned. I couldn't help but scowl at him. He looked taken aback but
didn't respond. "Hoseok I-"
"I'm not interested," He said. "Yoongi," Namjoon's deep voice spoke up. I
turned to look at him. He looked tired, concerned. Turning away, he gestured
with his hand for me to follow him. I stole one last glance at Hoseok before
walking out of the kitchen to where Joon was standing. "He's been up all night
crying. Again," He tells me quietly. "Jungkook has been comforting him a lot,
he's been really good to him," He explains. "He shouldn't be anywhere near
him," I seethed. "You have a grudge against Jin. And you know full well what he
does to his boys. We've got more to worry about with Jin coming for us. This
fucking argument you have going on Jungkook is completely petty. Just drop this
shit," he says.
I was taken aback by how forward he was being. Namjoon sighed heavily. "We're
all on edge right now. As safe as Remmie thinks we are, it's all bullshit.
Yoongi, in the end- we're going to die. Jin won't let this sit. And he's not a
man to fix things. He'll kill the problem and continue like nothing has
happened. And right now, we're the problem. So don't you think, that these
arguments need to stop? Shit- you're so oblivious,"
"Just because he's your brother-"
"This isn't about family. Jungkook made mistakes. Big ones. But he's just a
kid. None of us asked for any of this to happen, it just did. But I can tell
you that he cares. He's not Jin, Yoongi," Namjoon says. "If we're not safe
here, then why the fuck are we here?" I ask.
"Where else do you expect us to go? Jin has men everywhere. And you can bet he
has someone watching our every move. We will die. It's inevitable at this
point. There's nothing we can do but wait," he says. "You want us to wait like
sitting ducks? What the fuck Joon?"
Jungkook;
"Are you okay? After last night, I was really worried," I said. He shrugged.
"I'm not okay, really. But at the same time, I'm so numb right now. It's
difficult to feel anything," Hoseok responded quietly. I nod. "Sometimes I just
want to get out of here," Hoseok said. "Then why don't you?" I ask him
He snorted. "Where to? I don't even know if Jin's looking for me," He said, his
voice wavering. "He's not-" I lied. His eyes shot up to me. "What do you mean?"
He asks me. "He's not looking for you. He said there wasn't much point in it.
He's most likely out for me," I lied, laughing nervously. "Hoseok-" I started
before purposely cutting myself off for dramatic effect. "Actually- no don't
worry it's a stupid idea,"
"Tell me," He urged gently.
"I- I have a friend. He has a place that is always there if I ever needed it.
But I know Jin would find me in a second if I went anywhere, but it could be
useful for you? It's in the quiet part of town- I know it's stupid and far-
fetched but it's there if you ever want it,"
He nodded, looking away from me for a moment. I tried to mask the smile on my
face, pretending to look concerned for him. Eventually, he spoke up. "When?" He
asked. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "Are you sure?" I asked him. He
just nodded. "Just- just for a few days. I can't be around Yoongi right now,"
Hoseok said with a quiet voice. "Then I'll wake you up in the early hours. I'll
get my friend to pick us up. Yoongi won't be awake then," I explained to him.
He nodded. I went to get up and leave him be before he spoke up. "Jungkook-"
I looked at him.
"Thank you," Hoseok whispered. I forced a smile and nodded at him before
leaving the room. I awkwardly passed by Yoongi and Namjoon who barely glanced
at me before they went back to talking. Pretending to like someone can be
seriously draining. But it got me off the hook with Jin for a little while. I
snuck into Namjoon and I's room and took out the phone from where I'd hidden
it.
"I swear if you don't fucking sort this shit I'll send for your fucking head!"
Seokjin yelled. "What?!" He screamed down the phone. "It's Jungkook-" I said.
He immediately changed his tune and greeted me happily. "Tell me you have good
news," He says. "Hoseok's coming," I told him. I heard a loud bang before he
cheered loudly. "My boy you've done it! Fuck! I'll be sure to reward this
Jungkook, I really will. Tell me- how'd you trick the fucker?"
I smiled to myself at the praise. "He's had a huge fight with Yoongi," I
explained, making Jin snort on the other end. "I've been pretending to comfort
him and today I lied and said I had a place he could stay at. I'm surprised he
bought it, but he thinks we're leaving in the early hours tomorrow," I told
him. "He seriously fell for it?" Jin asks. "Yeah- Tae's been spinning lies
about how I got roped into this shit and that I'm 'a good guy' and all that
shit. I don't think I could have done it without him, Boss,"
"And the guards?" He asks. "Namjoon says they go on break for ten minutes at 2
am. I've been watching them the past couple nights anyway, he leaves for
exactly ten minutes. If I'm quick, I can get him there, no problems,"
Jin chuckles. "Mark yourself promoted, Kook. Taehyung too. I'll have Josh pick
you both up, 2 am sharp," He explains before hanging up on me. I took a deep
breath in and shoved the phone back into its hiding place. For a moment, I felt
guilty. But only for a moment.
Yoongi;
I was laying on the large bed, staring up at the ceiling. Thoughts ran around
in my head, one after the other, but were soon interrupted by someone opening
the bedroom door. I lifted my head, my whole body following as soon as I saw
Hoseok standing in the doorway. "Hoseok-"
He strode towards me and took my face in his hands, connecting our lips almost
violently. I held onto his cheeks, gently prising us apart. He had his eyes
closed, lips apart. "Can we talk?" I ask him. His eyes open and he looks up at
me. "Kiss me first," He says. I felt like a magnet being drawn to him. He
tasted sweet and I couldn't get enough of him. He pulled away once more and
took my hand, leading me from the room and to the indoor pool that Remmie had
shown us when we first got here. "Hoseok-"
"Don't talk," He said quickly as he shut the door. "But-"
He sighed and pulled me into a kiss, occupying my mouth with his. When he
pulled away, he said nothing. I stayed quiet and let him pull away from me to
turn the dial on the wall, making the floors open up and water flow in. I had
my eyes focused on Hoseok who kept his focus on me as he pulled off the shirt
he was wearing. This time I didn't stop him. Because just looking at him, I
realized how much I loved him. He grinned at me and slipped out of the clothes
he was wearing, standing there boldly in front of me. I bit my lip as he
stepped into the pool, his tanned body sinking into the water around him. He
floated backward and looked at me expectantly. When I didn't move, he swam
towards me, leaning on the edge of the pool with his head tilted up to look at
me. I crouched down and looked at him.
Suddenly he bounced up, his arms locking around my neck and pulling me into the
water. I yelped loudly before I hit the water.
Hoseok came back up and laughed as I stood up, gawping at my soaking wet
clothes. "You little-" I swore, going to grab him. He swam away from me and
laughed. I grabbed his ankle and pulled him through the water so that I was
able to hold his waist. His laughter died down as he watched me silently, his
laughter leaving the remains of a small smile.
"I'm sorry," I whispered. He just shook his head and wrapped both arms around
my neck. "Don't talk," He said quietly. He gently moved his hands from my neck
and trailed them down my chest. Silently, he peeled off the shirt I was wearing
and let them roam across my bare skin. I brought my hands up from the water and
held his face in my hands. "You're so beautiful," I whispered. His face turned
a light pink as he tried to look away from me. "So, so beautiful,"
"Stop-" Hoseok whined with a grin on his face. I just laughed and let my hands
fall to his thighs. I pulled him up so that he could wrap his legs around my
waist. I walked back until my lower back hit the sides of the pool and turned
us around so that Hoseok could sit on the side. My hands trailed up and down
his thighs as I separated them. He reached for my belt and unbuckled it,
letting it sink to the bottom of the pool. "Take them off," He ordered quietly.
I just smiled and pushed them down as best as I could in the water.
He pulled me back into another kiss before I quickly pulled away. "Lube-" I
said breathlessly. "Fuck I left it in my pocket," Hoseok whispered against my
lips. I groaned and pulled away from him. Hoseok stood up and walked over to
retrieve the bottle. "Nice ass," I grinned. "Shut up," Hoseok retorted, walking
back over to me. He sat on the side with his legs in the water, pulling me
closer to him by his legs. "Stay on the side, it makes it easier," I told him
as I took the bottle. "Are you experienced then?" He said with a raised
eyebrow. "Don't get jealous," I teased him. He just scowled.
"You're too pretty to scowl," I told him with a tap on his nose. "Fuck it out
of me then," He shot back. I rearranged us around to try and get a better idea
of how we could do this before finally giving up. "I don't want to kill the
moment but fucking in a pool isn't the best idea,"
"I thought it'd be romantic," Hoseok muttered. "It's a lovely idea baby really,
but the thing is if you're about to lose your virginity, a pool isn't the best
place to do it," I told him softly. He sighed and pulled his knees up to his
chest. I climbed out of the water and took his hand. "A bed would be more
comfortable," I said to him. He took my hand and let me pull him up. "I guess I
didn't really think-"
"As much as I'd love to do it here, I want your first time to be the best it
can be," I explained, handing Hoseok a towel. I wrapped another around my waist
and kicked the clothes to the side. "Come on, we'll sort this later," I said as
we left the room and rushed to our own. I was quick to lock the door and let
Hoseok pull me to the bed.
"Take it slow," I said with a laugh. "No way, I've been waiting for this for so
long," Hoseok said, falling onto the bed with his hair still wet. "That's a tad
overdramatic," I pointed out. "Shut up and kiss me," He said, reaching up to
pull me on top of him. I couldn't get enough of his taste. He was so sweet it
was almost intoxicating. We pulled away for air before Hoseok spoke up. "Will
it hurt?" He asked nervously. "If it does, we stop. Agreed?"
Hoseok nodded. "Come up with a safeword," I said. Hoseok thought for a minute.
"Robin," He said after a moment. "Robin?" I questioned. "Yeah, it's from a book
that Taehyung gave to me," Hoseok explained. I nodded and sat up, squirting
lube onto my fingers. "Okay?" I asked. "Okay," Hoseok responded quietly. I bit
my lip and gently pushed a finger into him. He shuffled for a moment. "Okay?" I
say quickly. "I'm okay,"
I felt nervous to continue but did so anyway, taking Hoseok's hand and giving
it a squeeze. I curled my finger inside him until his body jumped. "What is
that-" He choked out. "Does it hurt?" I ask him. He shook his head. "I'm going
to use another finger, tell me the safe word if it hurts okay?" I ask as I look
up at him. He just nods and holds my hand tighter. Slowly, I slip in another
finger, making him wince. Hoseok stayed silent so I continued to gently twist
my fingers into him. Once they were both in I let him settle for a moment.
"Okay?" I ask after a moment. He nods. "I'm okay,"
"I don't want to hurt you," I tell him. "I know you don't," Hoseok replies
quietly. I bit my lip nervously. "Okay- you can go now," Hoseok says. I let go
of my lip and curl both fingers around until he moves again. He slips a leg up
and holds onto it tightly. I continue to brush my fingers against the spot that
made him whine. "Jesus christ-" He chokes out. I just smirk at him. "Yoongi-
" Hoseok says, going to grab me. I immediately pull away from him, thinking he
was in pain. "Are you okay?" I ask quickly. He nods and pulls me to him. "Let
me touch you," He says quietly. I sigh in relief and just look down at him. His
eyes are hooded and his hands explore my neck and shoulders. God, I'm so in
love with this boy.
Hoseok looked up at me with wide eyes. "What?" He asks quietly. I tilt my head
to the side.
"You love me," He says. I said it out loud. Fuck. I pull away from him and
cover my face. "Personality swap much?" He laughs, taking my hands away. "I- I
didn't mean to say it-" I blurt out. "I mean- I meant to say it- but like in my
head,"
He shakes his head and snakes both arms around my neck, letting us both fall
back to how we had previously been laying. I couldn't help but gaze at him. He
made my heart skip multiple beats. It was so difficult to breathe around him.
And I didn't know what brought on this sudden act, but I didn't care. Nothing
mattered in that moment. All I wanted was him.
He reached for the small bottle that lay astray on the bed and handed it to me.
I just smiled and took it, squeezing out a fair amount onto my hands. I felt
embarrassed to look at him as I rubbed it onto myself. I suddenly felt like a
high school kid with a crush. Except for this time I get to experience being as
close as I possibly can be with them. Hoseok sunk back into the pillows,
looking up at me with a blissful smile on his lips. "I-"
"Shh," Hoseok says. It was slightly annoying that he wouldn't let me speak, but
I didn't argue. Instead, I rested a hand beside his head, the other guiding
myself towards him. Before I went any further, I gave him one last look, to
which he nodded, holding onto my neck. With a deep breath, I sink into him,
slowly, so slowly. Hoseok's eyes squeeze shut as he breathes heavily through
his open mouth. I stopped and waited for him to look at me. "I'm okay," He said
with his eyes still closed. I waited a moment longer before pushing myself into
him fully. "Still okay?" I ask him. He nods. "Just give me a minute to adjust,"
He whispers.
I move my hand up to his cheek, my thumb lovingly stroking his skin. He smiled,
his eyes looking up at me. "I really do love you," I said quietly. He didn't
respond. He just looked at me. I hid the fact that I wanted him to say it back.
I ached to hear those words on his tongue but I didn't. And that's okay.
"Try and move," Hoseok said quietly after a few minutes. I slowly pulled my
hips back and guided them back towards his. "Does it hurt?" I ask. He shook his
head. "It's okay at the moment,"
Still, I touched him like he was made of glass. I was so scared of hurting him
that I went as slow as I possibly could with the fear of hurting him. "Faster,"
He murmured. I slowly gained speed in my hips, only going faster as he pushes
me closer with his legs around my waist. "Are you sure?" I ask. "I wouldn't be
pushing you if I wasn't," Hoseok responded with a touch of sass in his voice. I
just grinned and shook my head, speeding up. He gasped quietly, his arms moving
to cover his face. "Good?" I ask. Hoseok murmurs something but I couldn't pick
it up with him covering his face. I gently prise them away, revealing his heavy
breathing and closed eyes. "So- good," He whispered again.
I never thought someone could be so beautiful in all my life. Every feature was
so stunning that it left me thinking how such an angel walked into my life.
Well- he didn't walk. More like bounded in. I couldn't help but smile at the
thought. Hoseok's soft moan brought me back to reality. He had again covered
his face, but this time I decided to leave him like that. If you were to tell
me a year ago that I would end up falling in love with someone, I probably
would have laughed in your face. I never thought my life would leave that
concrete house.
Hoseok choked out a moan, deep from his throat. "Go faster-" He whined. I
complied and moved faster, lifting his hips closer to me so that only his upper
back touched the bed. He let his arms fall onto the pillows with his head
tilted up. He felt so good, tight and warm around me. I couldn't get enough of
him. He felt like a drug and I only craved more. I reached up and gently took
his dick that throbbed in my hand. He gasped aloud when I did so, weakly
pushing his hips up. I teased him with slow hand movements, gently rubbing my
thumb over his slit. "Stop teasing me-" Hoseok said with a moan following.
"Why not? It's fun," I said, earning an annoyed sound from Hoseok. I laughed
softly, enjoying every moment of him squirming beneath me. "I wanna come-" He
moaned. I sped up my hand, only to go slower every now and again. "No, Yoongi
stop-" Hoseok said. I stopped my hand movements altogether. "I didn't me- ah-
" He moaned as I brought his hips down onto mine. "Stop whining," I said, half
joking. I could hear a soft laugh but he didn't lift his head to look at me. I
moved my hand again, lightly gripping him with each stroke. Hoseok groaned
again and squirmed around beneath me. With a rough slap on his upper thigh, I
said, "Stop squirming,"
"I can't- help it-" He whispered breathlessly. I moved my hand faster, brushing
over his slit with every stroke. "I'm close-" He cried out desperately. I only
moved my hand faster until he came over my hand and his stomach, his whole body
trembling. I pounded into him, coming soon after he did. As soon as it was over
I laid him down so carefully, my eyes wide with worry.
He wasn't looking at me. He had his eyes closed as he breathed deeply in and
out. "Stop staring at me," Hoseok muttered, opening an eye to glance at me.
"Are you okay?" I ask him quietly, to which he just nods. I looked at him for a
moment longer before leaning off the bed to take one of the towels we had
earlier, wiping off the mess from his stomach. "Can we talk now?" I ask him
nervously. "Later," Was all he said, pulling me down to him. I took the sheets
and pulled them over Hoseok as goosebumps started to appear.
Jungkook;
"Hoseok," I whispered, shaking his shoulder. He mumbled something I couldn't
understand before opening his eyes. It looked as though he'd been crying, but I
didn't mention it. "Wha-"
"It's 2 am, we need to leave now," I reminded him. He just nodded and slipped
out of Yoongi's arms. I was worried he'd stir but he didn't seem to. "Can I
have some clothes?" He asks me with a tired voice. I glance around the dark
room and pick up a shirt out of an open bag on the floor, handing it to him. As
he pulls it on I also take out some pants and hand them to him. "Shoes?" I ask.
He weakly pointed to the door where two pairs of shoes were. "Red ones," He
tells me. I pick them up and go as far as to slip them onto his feet. "Come
on," I urge him. He just nods and pushes himself out of bed.
I lead him out of the room and down the stairs. Taehyung was already in the car
in the front seat so that Hoseok wouldn't see him. Although I didn't think he'd
pay much attention anyway. As soon as he got into the car, he was already
falling asleep. I quietly shut the door and slip into the car. Josh says
nothing as he pulls away. I couldn't help but glance at Hoseok. He looked so
peaceful and calm. I wanted to ask him about why he and Yoongi were together,
but I left him to sleep instead. Obviously, things weren't okay if he still
decided to come with me. The car ride was a silent one as we drove past the
city. Jin had moved everyone to a large warehouse that had two floors. It was
less extravagant as his last place, but he said it'd be safer for everyone to
leave. I guess Yoongi had the same idea.
I hardly noticed when we arrived. Although, I hadn't yet seen the place so I
wasn't sure what to look out for. It was still fairly dark so I couldn't really
see anything. Taehyung picked up Hoseok gently, as to not stir him from sleep
and carried him into the warehouse. The sudden bright light hurt my eyes but
they soon adjusted. Two of Jin's bodyguards lead us through the warehouse and
to hidden stairs that were disguised under empty boxes. They lead to a secret
basement that I was unaware of.
Jin was sat at a large desk, casually throwing darts at the board next his
desk. He turned his head and greeted us with a large smile. There was another
door on the other side of his office. Jin stood up and gave me a hug, his rings
pushing into my back. "Nice to see you, boy," He said loudly. I was surprised
Hoseok didn't stir. He was obviously a deep sleeper. Jin dragged a finger down
his face. "A pretty one," He cooed sarcastically. "Through there, Tae. Make
sure to lock him up good. We don't want him trying to escape now, do we? If he
wakes up, there will be no violence. We want Yoongi's gift to be immaculate for
his arrival," Jin explains, gesturing his arm towards the door I had noticed
before.
Tae just nodded calmly and marched towards the door, pushing it open with his
shoulder and walking in. "Go and help him," Jin ordered to me. I nodded and
joined Taehyung. The room was all concrete with a large, rusty pole in the
middle of the room. Attached were chains that Tae used to lock Hoseok's wrists
behind his back. The boy had already begun to stir, his eyes hooded with sleep.
Tae pulled harshly on the chains to test their strength, stepping away once he
felt satisfied. Hoseok slowly woke up, weakly pulling on the chains that kept
him on the ground. "Jungkook!" He yelled out. I felt a pang in my stomach that
made me feel sick. But I had to ignore it and walk away from him.
As I left the room, I heard Taehyung threaten Hoseok's life if he didn't keep
quiet. I shuffled out of the room, wishing I could drown out his cries for
help.
Jin was sat at his desk again with a proud smile on his face. "You two, get
some rest. Tony will show you where you can stay. Tomorrow, we face Yoongi," He
announced. I just nodded and followed the bulky guard back up the stairs. Two
other men covered the basement door with boxes whilst Tony lead Taehyung and I
up yet another flight of stairs to the second floor. Boxes were stacked to make
rooms. He took us to the back and left us there. Inside the small space were
two sleeping bags and a camp light. Taehyung, calm as ever, picked where he was
going to sleep as if everything was okay.
"Sleep," He ordered quietly. I just nodded and slipped into the bed opposite
his.
"You better keep your mouth shut, Jungkook. Any word against this and Jin won't
hesitate to shoot your brains out," He said quietly.
"I know," I echoed.
Chapter End Notes
This hasn't turned into what I wanted it to be. It's a huge
clusterfuck because I didn't plan it out. So sorry to disappoint if I
have. I want this book to end ASAP because it's starting to annoy me
tbh. Expect it to come to an end soon. Sorry this book isn't what
most of you wanted. I really need to plan shit before I start writing
     it.

Jungkook;
"Jungkook!" I heard Jin yell. I was standing in the doorway of the warehouse,
trying to breathe in the fresh air without throwing up. I couldn't see myself
but I could guess I was pale. My hands were either shaky or sweaty. Plus I
hardly slept last night. I couldn't keep my eyes shut for long enough without
picturing Hoseok. I closed my eyes and took another deep breath before pushing
myself away from the doorway and walking over to the stack of boxes. The two
men whose names I still didn't know moved the boxes away and let me walk down
to where Jin was calling me.
I walked into the basement and turned my head, expecting to see Jin sitting at
his desk. When I saw the open door to where he had Hoseok, my stomach sank.
"Jungkook!" Jin screamed again, making me jump. Scared to keep him waiting, I
sped through the hall and into the room where he was standing over Hoseok,
holding a long metal pole. Hoseok himself was leaning forward with his head
down and hands behind his back. "I know how much you love this," Jin said with
a wicked grin on his lips as he handed me the pole. I couldn't do it. I held
onto the weapon with a tight grip but there wasn't that ache to hurt anyone in
my stomach. I don't know why Hoseok was the one to change that. It's not like I
haven't hurt innocent people before. I used to get a kick out of it.
"Well go on then!" Jin spoke eagerly, going as far as to raise the pole in my
hand. "Fucking hit him!" He screeched. I squeezed my eyes shut and suddenly
swung it down, hitting him in the gut. I could hear a heart-wrenching sound
come from him but I couldn't open my eyes. I refused to look at him. I felt a
heavy pat on my shoulder as Jin said, "Have some time alone with him. Just
don't mark him up too bad. I expect Yoongi will be here soon,"
Still, I kept my eyes closed, waiting for him to leave. It felt like years
until I heard that door close and a chuckle come from someone outside the room.
When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was the puddle of blood in front
of Hoseok. He coughed violently, spraying red across the floor. I dropped the
pole, making a loud bang on the ground that instantly got his attention. As
soon as he saw me he tried to get away. "Jesus christ-" Was all I managed to
choke out. His eyes were so wide with fear that it took me right back to when I
first saw him. His hair was tousled and greasy and I remember how you could
practically see his ribs. He looked hardly different to back then. Except now
he had a fuller body and is covered in blood. At least one of those is a good
thing.
I fell to my knees in front of him but he refused to look at me. "I-"
Fuck. I don't even know how to begin. How the fuck do you apologize for this? I
was the one who got him here. This is happening because of me. Without
realizing, I smacked my forehead, hard. Hoseok's head barely raised as he
whispered, "don't do that,"
"What?" I ask in utter confusion. "Don't hurt yourself," He repeats, a little
louder this time. "It won't help," he added. I opened my mouth to speak, but no
words managed to slip out. My throat was dry and it was difficult to swallow.
"Was this your idea? To get me here?" He asked, finally lifting his head fully.
The sight of his face took my breath away, and not in a good way. His top lip
was split so bad that the cut went up to his nostril. Blood and saliva were
mixed around his mouth and his eyes were black and blue. A desperate choke came
from my throat.
"Was it you?" He asked again. "Partly-" I managed to say. "I- It was Jin's idea
to have you here. He wants Yoongi to hunt you down. My part in this was- to get
you to this place. But- fuck Hoseok I regret it all," I explained with a rushed
voice.
"You should," Hoseok said weakly, cracking a smile. "I- really believed that
you were helping me, Kook. I guess you're glad I'm so gullible,"
"You slept with him-" I blurted out. Hoseok didn't respond right away. His eyes
just flickered away from me. "Yeah," He said after a moment. "Yeah, I did,"
I waited for him to speak again but he didn't. "If you were planning to leave
him, why did you do it?" I asked. Hoseok sighed, making him cough harshly.
"This whole thing is a mess, Jungkook. My father fucked up badly and got me
involved. This was never my doing. It was him. He was always a fucking asshole.
He chose drugs over family and got himself into debt,"
"I know," I said quietly.
"So you'll know he killed himself when Jin came for him. They- you took me
instead. Almost as a prize. And then I met Yoongi the day I was forced into
that fucking hut. It seems so stupidly cliche to fall for a drug lord when
you've just been kidnapped right? Trust that to happen to me," He said with a
dry laugh. "Anyway, he- refused to touch me. Of all the shit he's done and he
wouldn't come near me, at least not like- that. But the thing is, I didn't
care. I wanted him to love me. I wanted his hands on me. I guess I wanted the
experience of it all before I left. That's why I let him fuck me before we
left. Happy?"
I was quiet for a moment before I spoke up. "Used him for the experience?"
"Never used," Hoseok spoke almost instantly. "I love him. Stupidly- I love him.
I never intended to hurt him even though that's exactly what I've gone and
done. I know Jin just as well as you do. He won't let me get out of this. So, I
need you to do me a favor," Hoseok said quietly.
I raised my eyebrows, silently asking what he wanted.
"When Jin goes to kill me, I want you to do it," He said simply.
It felt as though all the air in my lungs had been sucked out. My mouth opened
and closed but I couldn't bring myself to speak. All I could manage was an
almost silent, "what?"
Hoseok took a deep, ragged breath in and let it out before he looked at me
properly. "I refuse to give Jin the satisfaction. You need to be the one to end
this whole fucking thing,"
It was like Hoseok had completely changed overnight. The timid boy was no more.
Something had snapped and I didn't like it one bit. "Wha- what about Yoongi,
Hoseok?" I asked quickly. "Yoongi is a big boy, he can take care of himself.
Only you will try to look out for him. Taehyung won't. No one else will. Only
you. But- I'm not asking you to take that on. He knows how to look out for
himself," Hoseok said quietly.
I went to speak but I could hear loud footsteps and Jin's laughter as he came
back down the stairs. "Hit me," Hoseok demanded quickly. "What?!" I whispered.
"You're meant to be hitting me, just fucking do it!" He argued, lowering his
head. I felt sick as I wrapped my fingers around the metal pole and forced
myself to my feet. "Do it," I heard Hoseok whisper just as Jin entered the room
once more. With my eyes forced shut, I swung the pole from behind my head to
hit Hoseok straight in the ribs. The force sent pains up my arms and tears
sprung to my eyes. "Bet that feels good, don't it Kookie?" Jin laughed, patting
me on the back. I forced myself to nod, blocking out the noises Hoseok was
making. When I opened my eyes, we made contact. His pupils shook but his mouth
silently said, "thank you,"
"Come on, leave the sucker for a while," Jin said, pushing me forwards and out
of the door. The man that followed Jin in here came with us, slamming the door
shut and walking into Jin's office. "We've just had a friend call us," Jin
spoke, almost with excitement like a child on Christmas Day. "I expect he'll be
with us by this evening. Until then my boy, my friends here will have a bit of
fun with our new toy. You can join us or rest up for the party tonight," He
grinned, sending a wink towards the bulky man standing beside us.
"I- I might sleep for a bit. Have you seen Jimin? I haven't heard from him for
a while," I said quietly. "Jimin? Kook, you delirious or something?" He
chuckled. I looked at him with confusion. "He's dead. Tried to fuck us all
over. Sorry, Kook. But I did tell you that making friends wasn't the best
idea,"
"Dead?" I echoed. He nodded, shoving my shoulder. "C'mon Kookie, you haven't
gone all soft on me have ya?" Jin laughed, but his face serious. "No! No
'course not, Boss. Just that no one told me 's all," I grinned. He nodded but
didn't seem like he believed me. "Stop making friends here, Jungkook.
Attachment is the last thing you need," He spoke. "You sayin' you're not my
friend no more?" I asked, forcing the way I used to speak to float past my
lips. He smirked and used his thumb to point upstairs. "Don't push it, go," He
ordered. I just nodded and left his office, glad to greet the natural light and
a breeze coming through the open warehouse doors.
Hoseok;
(WARNING- THIS POV WILL CONTAIN DETAILED RAPE AND ATTEMPT OF SELF HARM! READ
WITH CAUTION!)
I heaved for air, but every time I breathed in, it caused a sharp pain to soar
through my lungs and ribs. My throat was so dry that I kept coughing, but every
time I did the pain increased. I jumped as the door was slammed open. I didn't
dare look up but apparently, I had no choice in it as a man grabbed my chin and
forced it up. "He's pretty, even with his face fucked up," The man practically
cooed. "Have fun with him," I heard Jin say casually before slamming the door
shut. The man grinned down at me, licking his lips. I couldn't speak. I was
scared that if I did, he'd hit me again.
He pushed my face away and went to the door, locking it from the inside. He
then strode up to me and put in the code for the chains, making them loose on
my wrists as they fell off. I tried to get away from him but he was quicker
than me and took hold of my ankles, forcing me to the ground. My chin came into
contact with the ground, making me yell in pain. I hardly noticed him dragging
me towards him. "Get the fuck off me!" I screamed, attempting to kick him off
of me. He was muscular, toned. Much stronger than me. But it didn't stop me
from trying. "Yoongi!" I cried out desperately, turning my body so that my
stomach touched the ground. I clawed at the concrete floor in an attempt to get
away from him. But with all his weight on me, I was unable to move. Still, he
took my arm and forced it the wrong way. It made a sickening crack, making me
scream out in agony but he took no notice and forced my ripped pants and boxers
down to my ankles and past my feet. "Yoongi!" I screamed, over and over until
my voice was hoarse. "Shut the fuck up," He hissed as he forced himself into me
with a rough thrust.
I wasn't sure what was more excruciating, the pain of my wrist or the pain of
him forcing his way into me. My head was overloaded with pain. I wanted to shut
down. I want Yoongi.
With each thrust it made it feel like my skin was being torn apart. I was
convinced that it already was split. Tears streamed down my face like an
endless waterfall, my teeth sinking into my lip to try and distract myself from
what was happening. The man above me let out disgusting grunts and moans that
made me feel sick to my stomach. "Please- stop-" I cried as I heaved for air. I
was crying so hard it made me sob loudly, hiccupping occasionally. My throat
was so sore I couldn't scream out no matter how much I wanted to. I didn't dare
call for Jungkook. Even after all of this, he's my only hope to end this. Where
is Yoongi? I need him, where is he?
With a final thrust into me, I felt warmness seep in. I was fully convinced
he'd split the skin from how much it hurt to feel it running down me. My body
was limp, tired. I wanted nothing more than to end it myself. I felt his weight
come off of me, but I could hardly move, let alone stand up. "You make a good
fuck," He grinned as he zipped up his pants. I looked up at him, my cheek
touching the cold floor. I don't know where the sudden energy came from, but
out of nowhere, I began to lift my head and furiously hit it on the ground. I
did it over and over again until he forced me onto my back, but still, I lifted
my head and hit it so hard it made me dizzy. "You fucking brat-" He spat,
saliva spraying over my face. He forced me up but I twisted out of his arms and
ran full force into the wall. It made me dizzy but wasn't enough to knock me
out or even kill me.
The man was quick to grab me and hold my weak body to his chest. "Jin!" He
yelled out, keeping a tight grip on me. Moments later he came bounding in.
"What the fuck is going on?" He ordered. "This fucking brat- trying to hit his
head on the damn wall!" The man seethed. Jin glared at me before he spoke up
again. "Drug the bastard. We can't keep him anywhere else," He spoke quietly.
I struggled in his arms, trying to force his grip off of me, but it was no use.
"Keep him there-" Jin spoke quickly before pacing out of the room. He soon
returned holding a pill bottle. I screamed out as he tapped two pills out from
the bottle and stepped towards me. "Hold him still!" Jin ordered as he forced a
pill down my throat. I tried to turn my head but he managed to get it down,
following again with the next pill. "Hold him there until he passes out," Jin
spoke with an evil glare focused on me.
Before I even knew what was coming to me, I felt my head get heavier. I forced
my eyes open but they seemed to want to glue themselves shut. I fell limp in
his arms as he pushed me to the ground and pulled my wrists behind my back. I
could hardly feel the pain in my arm as my head grew heavier and heavier.
Yoongi;
With a smile on my face, I dragged my hand over the other side of the bed,
expecting to feel Hoseok next to me. When I felt nothing but an empty space, my
eyes shot open. "-What?" I asked myself as I sat up to look around. "Hoseok?" I
called out, but I got no response. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and
swung both legs over the side of the bed, running a hand through my hair and
standing up. I walked around the bed and sorted through our open bag to find
some pants.
"Namjoon!" I called out as I struggled to pull on my pants standing up. No
response. Cursing under my breath, I pulled up my jeans and opened the bedroom
door, calling out again. "Namjoon!"
"What?" He responded from somewhere in the house. "Have you seen Hoseok?" I ask
him whilst walking towards his room. He looked away from the TV on his bedroom
wall and looked at me as I approached his doorway. "What?" He asked again.
"Have you seen Hoseok?" I repeated. "Is he with Jungkook?" Namjoon asked. I
shrugged. "I don't know where either of them is," I said quietly, glancing at
what he was watching. "Yoongi!" Remmie suddenly yelled. Namjoon and I looked at
each other, both confused and scared by the tone of his voice. Remmie called me
again, making me rush with Namjoon to the office. "Look at this-" He said
quickly, turning the laptop screen towards me as I ran up to the desk. Namjoon
looked over my shoulder as we both looked at it.
On the screen was a video from the security cameras. At first, we could see the
guards standing outside before they left for a break. "Why the fuck are they
going together?" I asked him. "Just watch-" He responds, pointing as we see the
door open on the screen. I couldn't see faces until I noticed Hoseok sleeping
in someone's arms. One turns and I instantly recognize Jungkook's face. That
was all I needed to see before I stormed out of the room. "Hoseok!" I screamed,
my voice echoing through the house. Every room I searched, every person I
asked, Hoseok was nowhere to be seen. Then suddenly, it clicked.
"Remmie!" I yelled, running back to the foyer. Both Remmie and Namjoon sped
down the stairs, their faces serious. "It's Jin. I'm sure of it,"
"Who was carrying Hoseok?" Namjoon asked aloud. "Tae-" I said quietly as it all
came together. "You're telling me he's working with Seokjin? Yoongi are you
fucking crazy?" Namjoon argued. "Do you see Taehyung with us right now? There
is no one else. He kept Hoseok away from me. Who else would it fucking be?
Remmie- I- Fuck- They've probably moved by now. There's no way he's that stupid
to fucking stay in the same place-" I said, breathless.
"Just- breathe. Wait here-" He said as he bounded up the stairs. Breathe?! How
the fuck was I supposed to breathe? I was practically heaving. "In through the
nose out thr-"
"Shut the fuck up-" I snapped. "I'm sorry Joon I just- fuck I'm sorry-" I
blurted out straight after. He just gave me a comforting smile and rubbed my
shoulders. "What if he's hurt- I'll never fucking forgive myself! Fuck- I'm-
I'm gonna kill all of them. They-" I couldn't get my sentence out without
heaving for air. My lungs and throat hurt and I wanted to break down crying. It
felt like years until Remmie was running back to us. "Get something on, we're
going," Remmie ordered, his face serious. "Stay with Rem, I'll get you a
shirt," Namjoon spoke. I just nodded, hardly paying attention to what he just
said.
"You gotta breathe, Yoon," Remmie told me. "How the fuck do you expect me to
breathe?" I argued, almost breathlessly. "Just fucking do as your told," He
snapped. "In through your nose," He ordered. I scowled but did it anyway,
breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth. It helped me to calm
down the sudden panic, but my head was still reeling. "Here," Namjoon spoke as
he came back to us, holding a shirt and a pair of shoes. I let out a quiet
'thank you' as I slipped everything on. "Let's get this motherfucker," Remmie
announced, bursting out of the doors like he was in an action movie.
"How do you even know where to go?" Joon asks. "Jin's a player. He likes games.
And he's also very impatient. All he wanted was a phone call to start this sick
game of his. He's not one to keep you waiting," Remmie said, looking at me in
the rearview window although I wasn't really paying attention.
"Seatbelt-" I heard Namjoon say. "Yoongi-" He repeated, clicking his fingers in
front of my face. I snapped out of my daze and looked at him. "Seatbelt," He
said with a gentle and quiet voice. I barely nod and plug the belt in with
shaky hands.
Jungkook;
How no one thought to tell me that Jimin was dead was beyond me. In that
moment, all I was capable of doing was trying to force back tears and silently
mourn my best friend. Jimin always played by the rules. He was Jin's favorite
boy. I wanted to know what he did to upset Jin, but I also knew that if I kept
asking, Jin would easily catch on and do the same to me. The first rule, don't
make friends.
-flashback-
"Do you ever think it's dangerous to be friends?" Jimin asked into the dark. I
shrugged even though he couldn't see me. "So much shit has happened to us that
I think the last thing we need to worry about is being friends," I said with an
amused tone. He laughed, a soft squeak following. "That's true. Besides, Jin
doesn't seem to ever step in when he sees us together. I always thought he
didn't care," Jimin spoke.
"That's because you're his favorite," I said. He snorted. "As if, he loves his
money more than he loves us," He laughed. "You're his favorite living thing
then," I said with a fond smile on my face. "It's almost impossible to not make
friends here y'know? Like- you're like family to me, Kookie. It's difficult to
not love you like a brother," Jimin explained. I nod to myself. "I get that, I
guess it's just a warning to us. Anyone here could die tomorrow and it would
affect us emotionally and physically if we mourned them," I said.
"Would you miss me?" Jimin asks. I laugh. "Nope," I joke, earning a slap from
Jimin. "Ow- asshole," I argue. I catch a glimpse of Jimin's grin in the soft
moonlight. "You'd so miss me," He says before falling back onto his bed. "I
won't if you keep this shit up," I mutter.
He just laughs. We fall silent for a moment. It's a comfortable silence. There
wasn't really a need to speak.
"Kook?" Jimin speaks up.
"Mm?" I respond.
"If- if something happens to me, promise me that you'll stay alive,"
"Nothing is going to happen to you," I argue.
"Just do it-" Jimin snaps. I glance over at him and drop my hand over the bed,
extending my pinkie finger. He does the same and we lock them into a promise.
-end of flashback-
I remember we fell asleep like that. With our pinkies locked together. I
couldn't help but smile at the memory.

Yoongi;
Remmie swerved the car just as I opened the door and jumped out, falling to the
ground. A shooting pain rushed up my leg, making me wince but I refused to let
it stop me. Infront of me was a huge warehouse with the doors open and Jungkook
standing there with a look of pure fear across his face. All I saw was red as I
stormed towards him, swinging my fist. I felt it connect with his jaw as he
fell to his knees, crying out. He tried to say something but I wasn't
interested. The next person I laid my eyes on was a large, bulky man. I didn't
know nor care who he was or the friend that joined him. "Where's Jin?!" I
demanded. The men came towards me and pushed me forward. I shrugged them off
and walked on my own, my eyes darting around the warehouse.
The men shoved me forward so roughly I almost tripped over my feet. Infront of
us were boxes, all piled up. I half expected a bomb to explode from inside.
However, the bulky men pushed the boxes away, revealing a door in the ground
that was lifted. I looked down at the stairs for a moment before the men
decided to shove me down. I quickly regained my balance and walked down, my
eyes looking around. The room below was almost empty but with a large wooden
desk in the corner. Jin himself sat proudly in the chair, grinning at me as I
was pushed down the last steps.
"Yoongi!" He announced, standing up with open arms. "Where the fuck is
Hoseok?!" I yelled, pushing the men away from me. "Now, is that how you always
talk to your elders? You should respect us!" He says with a laugh. "Respect?" I
practically snort. "Respect?!"
"Yes, Yoongi. Respect. You better start behaving now, the party's about to
begin!" Jin cheers. I narrow my eyes and stare him down. The annoying smile on
his face doesn't leave. "Where's Alex?" Jin asks the men behind me. "With the
boy," One answers, his voice deep and croaky. My eyes shoot to Jin. "He's with
Hoseok?" I ask quickly. Jin just looks at me for a moment. "He's had him for
long enough, shall we go see how he is?" Jin asks sarcastically, bounding away
from the desk and to a door that one of the men stood in front of. As soon as
he swung the door open, I could hear crying, but it was muffled. Jin lead us
in, revealing the supposed 'Alex' forcing Hoseok to take his length in his
mouth. I felt sick to my stomach just hearing him, but as soon as I saw him, I
jumped on the man and forced him to the ground, his head smacking against the
concrete floor.
"I'll fucking kill you!" I scream, hitting his head over and over and over
again. I couldn't think straight, I just kept going until the blood was seeping
onto the floor and the man's eyes sat open. I looked back to Jin, expecting him
to attack me after what I just did, but instead, he just looked at me with a
smile. "Did that feel better?" He asks. I grit my teeth and stand up, falling
to my knees beside Hoseok. The words couldn't form together, so I just held his
face in my hands, choking back tears when I saw my beautiful boy like this.
"That's cute. Aren't they cute?" Jin cooed to his sidemen. "Too bad," He says
before one of them drags me back. I scream and kick, trying to escape his grip.
"Get the fuck away from him!" I yell as the other goes for Hoseok. "Yoongi,
Yoongi," Jin says with a tut. "You really must learn to behave! You'll ruin the
party!"
"Fuck your party-" I seeth. "Boss-" I hear a voice say. I look up and see
Jungkook with another man, they both have Remmie and Namjoon in their arms. I
wanted to scream but I couldn't. My voice was gone. Jin sighs heavily. "You-
" He says, pointing to the unknown man beside Jungkook. "Take them both
outside. Don't play about with the toys, just shoot them," Jin orders. "I'll do
it Boss-" Jungkook immediately jumps in, glancing at me. Jin stares him down
for a moment before briskly shaking his head. "You're staying here," he says. I
could barely focus on Jungkook as this man dragged their lifeless bodies away.
A strangled scream came from my throat, but I wasn't able to form actual words.
"Shut him up," Jin orders. The man's huge hand covered my mouth, muffling my
cries.
Jin lets out a deep sigh and smiles. Hoseok had his head down, his body limp.
He seemed to just let this man hold him. "Surely you'd have enough time to
plan?" Jin begins, making me glance up at him. "You really thought you could
just bound in here with weak men and expect to get out of here alive? You're
really a mess, Yoongi. Absolutely pathetic," He says. I yell something back at
him but it's blocked by the hand over my mouth.
"Hoseok here has had such a good stay," Jin says, crouching down beside the
lifeless boy. "One of my men said he's a good fuck, what do you think Yoongi?"
He asks, looking at me. I shake my head, trying to free myself from this
fucking man holding me. "No?" Jin asks. "Oh, you hear that Hoseok? Yoongi
doesn't love you,"
I scream again, struggling in the man's arms.
"Yes he does," Hoseok barely whispers. Jin smiles and grabs Hoseok's hair,
pulling it up. He winced as Jin did so. "Repeat yourself," Jin orders.
"Yoongi loves me," Hoseok repeats. This time the tears fell on their own,
streaming down my face. "Do you love him?" Jin questions.
"With everything in me," Hoseok whispers. My body shudders as the cries become
more intense. Jin stands up and fakes being heartbroken. "Ah- My boys isn't
this just heartbreaking? These two lovers... Goodness, it just breaks my
heart," He swoons. I glare up at him, my eyes glassy with tears.
Jungkook hadn't said a word. He just looked at Hoseok, and Hoseok looked at
him. It seemed that they had some sort of plan going on. They seemed to
understand each other through glances. "This party is getting a little boring,
don't you think? Maybe we should liven it up," he announces, reaching into the
belt of his pants and pulling out a gun, aiming it straight at Hoseok. I
screamed and writhed in the man's arms, using all my strength to get to Hoseok.
Jungkook moved just as swiftly, grabbing the gun and pointing it at Jin. The
men went to move but Jin held his hands up calmly. "Now, now, Jungkook. Don't
forget what happened to Jimin," He says.
It seemed to sway Jungkook, but only for a second. His hands shook as he held
the gun. "He was such a slut for me, Jungkook. You should have seen him. He
even tried to use sex to get out of me shooting his fucking brains out," He
says with a laugh. I see Jungkook waver, and so does Jin as he darts for the
gun, easily taking it from Jungkook's hands and pulling the boy into his chest.
Jin had his arms extended with Jungkook's hands under his, they both held the
gun and aimed it at Hoseok. "This is how you do it, Kook," Jin says with a sour
tone. I scream and scream as Jin pushes Jungkook's fingers on the trigger. "I
don't want to-" Jungkook cries, trying to get away. "Fucking stay still-" Jin
demands. "Please stop!" He whimpers as he squirms away from Jin. "I SAID
FUCKING STAY STILL!" Jin yells, making Jungkook freeze completely. I writhe and
scream but the man's hold on me seemed to only get stronger.
"You put your finger on the trigger," Jin guides. "And you fucking press it,"
He finishes as he forces Jungkook's finger down, firing the bullet. It was like
a slow-motion scene as the bullet hit and went through Hoseok's head, his body
instantly falling limp. Blood and body matter was splattered over the man and
the floor, making me scream and scream. Jungkook forced his eyes away, falling
to his knees as Jin let go of him. My muffled screams made no sense to anyone
as I cried. The man pushed Hoseok's body to the ground, grumbling as he wiped
away the blood from his lips.
Jungkook pushed the gun into his mouth, staring up at Jin. "Do it," He says. "I
dare you,"
With that, he pulls the trigger but no bullet was fired. "One bullet for one
job. I have something else in mind for you," Jin says as he bends down and
slips the knife from his shoe. How many fucking weapons can one man hide?!
Jungkook backed against the wall, staring up at Jin. "You shouldn't have
disobeyed me. Say hi to Jimin," Jin seethes through his teeth as he swipes the
knife across Jungkook's neck, spurting blood across the floor. I could barely
see through my tears as I cried out. Jin grimaced at the blood across his suit.
Finally, the man's grip loosened. I forced my way out of his arms and crawled
to Hoseok's body. "Hoseok-" I choke out. His back is limp as I pick him up from
the ground. "Hoseok!" I scream, shaking him. But no life comes from the boy.
"Hoseok please!" I cry, shaking him with every hope that this was all a
nightmare.
"You bastard!" I scream as I force myself up and jump on Jin. The men pulled me
away as I bit and scratched at them. One reached for their gun and handed it to
Jin as they struggled to keep me still.
"You know, none of this would have happened if you had kept your nose out of my
business. We could have gone our separate ways. There wouldn't have been a need
for me to send Hoseok to you. It's your own fucking fault Yoongi. You shouldn't
have fallen in love with a street rat. Because he. Never. Loved. You,"

Chapter End Notes
I didn't want to drag this out, it needed to be done in a short way
as to not make you lose interest.
This book is COMPLETE! Thank GOD
It didn't turn out how I wanted. I lost interest fairly quickly but
didn't want to leave it unfinished. Sorry for the disappointment, but
many authors lose interest in writing certain things.
THANK YOU to everyone who left comments, kudos and love! I love you
all so much!! Don't worry, there are other BTS books on my page that
are still being written, plus I will be introducing new yoonmin fics
     too!! :)
